Hiya All :)

I'm proud to announce that I've taken a new position at Transformation Magazine as Contributing Editor. I am very excited to be working with the team there and hope that I can be an asset to them in this new position.

I will be writing regular articles that include a variety of different topics including product reviews, website reviews, interviews, model features, life & style pieces, as well as more serious discussions on issues affecting the TG communities. Additionally, I may be involved in helping contribute to the online resources (blogs, sites, etc.) that are run by Centurion Online.

My first article (Hopefully in September/October issue!) will serve as an introduction to the readers and to that point, I am looking for two separate persons interested in interviewing ME (via email or Skype (may be transcribed or podcast - not sure yet). I am looking to answer 10 questions from a Fan AND 10 questions from a "Not-So-Much-Fan", although depending on the questions, I may choose just one set of questions for space (I will choose the "Not-So-Much-Fan" interview). If you're interested, please email me at the address below. Interview questions will be answered in full and not censored. Ever wanted to "get to know" me more? Ask some tough questions or throw some softballs? This is your chance :).

I am interested in hearing from ALL people who have something to say in a widely distributed print magazine with a loyal base and/or who wish to be actually featured in Transformation Magazine in a spread. Recent models to be featured have included TS Jesse, Venus Lux, and Sunshyne Monroe.

I am really looking to highlight individuals involved in the TG communities that have talents away from the camera as well as within the industry. If you're a musician, poet, artist, author, site owner, producer, photographer, sculptor, etc. etc. etc. ... AND your works include or represent the TG communities, we would like to hear from you. [EDIT: I just want to add... this includes EVERYONE (and applies to ALL sections), regardless of ANY negative history here out outside of this forum. I am not interested in using this position in any way to promote differences that I've had with people here. [END EDIT]

Well, I had intended this to be a short announcement but as I am wont to do... gotten a bit long. If you're interested in contributing a piece or would like to be featured, interviewed, etc... please email me! I'll be adding some more details of what I am looking for regarding the individual pieces soon so you have a better context before you email.

Please note that I am looking for contributors in exchange for some great PR (both in the magazine, online and across my personally run blogs), not paid pieces AND that emailing me does not constitute publication or any agreement to publish until specifically approved by the editorial board of the magazine. Details via email please.

krissy@transformationonline.com
(please include your topic of discussion in the subject - and also, please note this email address is monitored by the Owner and editors of the magazine so please be professional in your correspondence).

New blog is now up at transformationusa.com ... A bit sparse at the moment but will be featuring some teases from upcoming issues as well as opinions, articles, and other miscellaneous stuff related to the TG world. Come check it out!

I haven't had the time to sit down and read the current issues yet, featuring Sonique Kylie Love but she seems like quite the interesting person so I'm looking forward to reading the article. Anyway, I know I've been sparse posting here for a while... just been super busy trying to get things kicked off and started on the right foot as well as keeping my own site updated! Busy busy!

For those of you who I've said I would contact regarding articles or have contacted me... haven't forgotten. I've got a whole list of people. Just meeting the deadlines for current projects to be wrapped up.

Bella,
I can totally understand where you are coming from. Even after two years as editor I am still trying to get a good grasp on who we are and what we should be for our readership, so maybe you can help us out. What would YOU look for in a TS/TG focused magazine? What would encourage you to buy/read it? This is a very diverse and fascinating community so I'm sure I won't be able to capture every eye but the way I see it Transformation is a publication for Tgirls and their admirers. In such we try to include informational editorial content as well as sexy profiles of ladies in the industry.
When it all began under Jeri Lee the magazine focused mainly on crossdressing as that was Jeri's tendency, so there were dressing/hair/makeup tips, event coverage, interviews, etc...after a while it began to get more and more focused on porn and hardcore content, greatly limiting distribution outlets and alienating some readership. I hope to find a balanced middle ground in order to show the world just how beautiful, stong, and dynamic this community is!
Feedback is always welcome: editor@transformationonline.com

That's exactly it. I see girls whom I know on your covers and think, "well, maybe I should consider submitting my name for consideration for a shoot," but your tagline is 'men changed into females,' and contains a lot of articles that cater more to that fetish aspect of the community, as opposed to the transsexual community. We are not 'men changed into females;' we were male-bodied people turned into women, and some into females (post-op). This terminology is too vague (as well as inaccurate) and creates the appearance that TV/CD people and TS people are the same and have mostly overlapping interests, when that clearly isn't the case.

As to my suggestions for reconciling this? To be honest, I have ideas, but I'm currently not in a financial position to offer them for free.

Yes, reconciling: finding a balance between serving their current readers and expanding upon their base. I'm sorry that you have trouble with multi-syllabic words. Keep at it, though. You'll get them eventually.

So what does one use AppleTV for if not for Netflix, Hulu, and the Trailers App? Those are the only three that I use and I haven't even explored any of the others. I just ignore them. What else is good, useful, entertaining, and worth checking out?

Ah... AirPlay... I use that sometimes too although for some reason, it is super slow... and I have a fast wireless (AC) connection!

Seems like Apple is kind of abandoning Apple TV I think... The rumor mills are swirling with the company releasing an actual TV... something along the lines of the GoogleTV / Sony relationship.

From what I have read they are actually might be making the AppleTV into more of a game console.

Here is one of the news articles about it:

Why an Apple TV game console is a no-brainer

How can Apple make a splash in 2013? By unleashing the Apple TV to play games. It's easier and far more effective than you'd think.

For almost as long as there's been a rumor of a next-gen Apple TV, there's been a rumor of an Apple game console. In a year where Apple's product portfolio has been conservative -- to be kind -- it feels like new products, like the fabled iWatch, might be sliding off toward 2014.

So what, if anything, could Apple surprise with? Of all the new products Apple could release this fall, a revamped Apple TV/game console would be the easiest to make...and could deliver a huge unexpected disruption to the upcoming next-gen game consoles from Sony and Microsoft. With a possible Amazon game console and maybe even a Google one rumored to be on the horizon, maybe it's time Apple flexed its gaming muscle a little.

I'm not talking about an actual TV with Apple hardware: I'm talking about a next-generation Apple TV box. Take the existing $99 black puck that's already out there, add an upgraded A6 or A6X processor, and onboard storage, at least 16GB and hopefully higher. Maybe the hike up the price to $199. But here are five reasons why an Apple TV with gaming would be a great move for Apple right now.

MFi game controllers will be here soon
iOS 7's allowance for official stick-and-button game controllers is a big deal. At the very least, it means that iPhones, iPods, iPads, and the Apple TV using AirPlay could gain controller support using existing hardware.

Imagining the next Apple TV having direct game controller support without a mediating iPhone or iPad isn't a stretch at all. The existing Apple TV remote is limited; a revamped remote with controller elements could make Apple TV feel a lot different.

A lack of proper game control hampers port-over games on iOS. Fix that, and who knows what types of games could suddenly get made for the App Store. Imagine if EA suddenly debuted a full-blown version of Madden, or if Activision showed a new Call of Duty. These games have existed in control-hobbled or dumbed-down forms on iOS, but better graphics and controller support could get iOS gaming to turn the corner from casual content to deeper, more-advanced experiences. As graphics performance keeps improving, there's no reason why this couldn't happen.

Apple has tons of game developers already on the App Store
From big players like EA and Capcom to tiny one-person auteur operations, nobody in the entire gaming business has as diverse a portfolio of developer talent on a single platform as Apple. I'd think that would matter just a bit to developers once a gaming-ready Apple TV comes around. The potential for profit via the App Store has already been well-proven, especially over Android.

Apple could even sweeten the deal by allowing Apple TV games to be cross-compatible on iPads and iPhones, expanding the installed platform to millions right off the bat. Imagine a universal version of Skyrim that could track progress and sync across an iPad, iPhone, or Apple TV for true play-anywhere gaming.

An aggressive price and cheap games could undo other console players
The Nintendo Wii caught fire, in part, because it was less expensive than the competition. A cheaper Apple TV game box could undercut the Xbox One and PS4. Sure, it would be a completely different experience, but depending on what games it had, a lot of families might prefer an Apple TV game system. Keep in mind: with the Wii U at $350, PS4 at $400, Xbox One at $500, and current PS3 and Xbox 360 systems around $300, an updated Apple TV at $199 or less would immediately be a go-to choice for price-sensitive shoppers.

Second-screen gaming's already part of the equation
AirPlay gaming on Apple TV -- albeit in a limited capacity -- is already possible via iPads, iPhones, and iPods. Meanwhile, Sony, Microsoft, and Nintendo are all exploring second screens via the Vita, tablets (Smart Glass), and the Wii U GamePad, respectively. Apple's iOS device second-screen strategy could expand on a new game platform, enabling multiplayer games and more-elaborate experiences. The pieces are already in place.

Still plenty to offer for nongamers
The PS4 and Xbox One have a lot of great entertainment features, but they're game consoles first. The Apple TV has slowly but steadily added a number of video apps and services, plus it's very good at serving up iTunes content and being a wireless hub for iPhones, iPads, iPod Touches, and Macs.

All we need now is for Apple to announce a new Apple TV this fall. And, I don't think that's so far-fetched at all.

All of this Apple TV talk just reminded me to update the damn thing.

As for the magazine, nysprod, that's not a bad idea. Waiting rooms have too much boring material!

Hey, my office is in tranny central and I can tell you that when a hot latina comes in as a new patient, an observation of her 2nd and 4th fingers is now a standard part of my initial consultation...

I only need to keep one person entertained!

The You Can Do It montage was appropriate because, well you really haven't done it, or anything. Remember when you said ...
So why would Transformation need your advice? What are you bringing to the table?

Why are you involved in this, anyway? Shh! Grown up business people are talking. #banterwithfrienemies

Thanks so much! There is definitely lots of great content between Lady Bunny, Krissy, Michelle, and everyone. I am personally looking forward to seeing the publication grow bigger and stronger than it has ever been!

I even have new minions as a result of the interview, Can't knock 'em for having good taste. ANd speaking of taste Ed, I can wait for you to be kissing my feet as I sip on the cosmo you buy me!
