What are people's thoughts about Awards being in Vegas that weekend??

Most of us live outside of LA and have to travel to LA. I just find Vegas would be much cheaper and cost effective and amazing venues and hotels.

Glendale was a hike for us that don't have a car and staying in LA. Flights would also be cheaper and so would Hotels and could just jump into a cab to a venue where Awards show is....instead of a $50 cab ride one way.

Yes venue was good but just think of how many venue choices there is in Vegas....WOW!! The Awards could even be at a Venue inside of a Hotel and everyone could stay at that Hotel and just get on the elevator and your right at the Awards. Plus if we are all at the same Hotel could have a promo code to use on Hotel website to get "Tranny Awards" Hotel room promo discount for that weekend. Plus would be fun to hang out at Hotel pool with the girls and really get to know people and socialize.

Vegas is a quick drive from people in LA....but there is MORE people that attend Awards that don't live in LA then do....so just thinking of cost factors and all involved for people.....flights, meals, transportation, hotel etc....

Trust me I am willing to contact Hotels for you and get a "Tranny Awards" promo package and price deals. I am also willing to contact airlines and get a promo discount to use a particualr airline to fly to destination. Delta for example is very gay friendly even had a float in gay pride parade nyc.

Would also be much easier for me to throw a Celebration party in Vegas as venues are UNLIMITED and wayyyyy better looking then anyplace in LA. Also would be cost effective to do party and much more plush and more conveient to get to. Could also party longer hours then just 2am. Vegas 24/7 baby!!

Just giving you my input and what other people are saying that have already attend delaing with costs. Many more Porn Stars from around the world might attend if in Vegas and they could afford it and would be easy as 123 if we post promo codes on here for people to make there OWN reservations to book flights and hotel.

Just think pool side with your favorite TS star......

I am willing to help out anyway possible. Presidents weekend is a good weekend though. Looking forward to fun and sun with everyone in February 2014....and maybe some gambling!!

OK so lets work it out in LA to be cost effective for everyone and let us see about getting people promo deals to come to LA with hotels, airfare and transportation and shuttles to and from the awards show from the main hotel. Any hotel or airline would love our business and we would make peoples lifes easier if we give them info on how to book easy travel arrangements to be a part of this great night and not have to go to random searchs to find best deals to stay in LA, I;m willing to help and make it happen especially for my many new york based fans that want to go but don;t know where to start, stay, or go. Grooby is the best and deserves the best!!

Wouldn't you feel you'd get more of a showing? Say charter a bus or something for the evening, to and from the hotel. And perhaps you could have a certain hotel as the main overnight accommodation. Let's say the ones that stay at the chosen hotel, get the free transportation. I mean these girls do take the time and money out to travel out there.
Now I know the Tranny awards are not the Avn's or other adult awards shows. But I went to one in Vegas one year and they had something like that. The free transportation bus and hotel deal...

I 100% agree with you. This is a 3 day weekend event. We all don't have sugar daddys....lol. I am more then willing to help get an official hotel that is tranny / gay friendly and can accomodate us and people can be in one location and have drinks at hotel lobby bar and socialize and go to pool during the day and cuase this is an EVENT. Its a part of the event planning. Too provide a PROMO code and people make there OWN reservations....you would not be held responsible...you are not a travel agent. The PROMO code will give them a discounted room and accomodate these out of towners which is suppose to be the goal to have people besides LA come to Tranny Awards. A bus could always take people to and from awards....but again if they miss the bus your not babysitting....they will have to be an adult and figure out how to get to awards. This is only a part of promotion and will make people book and go to the event. Everyone wants conveience and quickness now a days they don't want to search online they wanna click on a link and BAM make there reservation and DONE your the winner cause you just sold people to come to the awards weekend of events. I am in the event planning business and this type of thing is always done. Like when you get invited to someones wedding out of town they block rooms for you and give you a promo code to make your hotel reservation and usually have transportation to get to the wedding / church / reception...cause why??? people want to DRINK and have fun and not worry about drinking and driving and got forbid we hear of a porn star in a deadly crash going back to hotel cause she drank to much and celebrated her winning. Its a Celebration my friend...and it involves partying, drinking and dancing. I could easily speak to a Hotel on behaf and use my knowledge of doing these things and get a discounted hotel and official Tranny Awards Hotel. Shit I could get an airline to give us discounted rates also...a promo code....its very easy. I work with a travel agent that does these things and makes these connections. Its nothing scray or babysitting its provinding servce and promotion to only DRAW people to come to this 3 day event weekend holiday. You are not responsible for anything!! People make there own reservations. The hotel wins and makes money ...you win and get more people and make more money to cover many expenses. This is fact information. This is the process of doing events which is what this is...its more then just an award....its 3 days of people lives and money and time and part vacation holiday.

If you book X amount of rooms hotels give the client some FREE rooms and upgrades. I claim the FREE rooms.....LOL!!

I live in the LA area as well(obviously)...but I'm thinking about getting a room for the weekend. After a certain party in the valley ends sometimes I just don't feel like driving back down to near Long Beach!
