Lee Westwood leads by two going into the final round. He deserves a major victory.

Plus the Lions down under and almost certainly England in the Ashes. Yep, could be a good fit.

And how dare I forget Chris Froome in the Tour de France? Another well done.

Tiger just can't get over the hump. He's been close, but just can't close the deal anymore!

A really exciting final round with the lead changing hands right up to the end.

Well done Phil Mickelson, a worthy winner.

Just saw this thread...Phil's performance was nothing short of brilliant, with birdies on 4 of the last 6...the 3 wood approach into 17 was an all-time great shot. What especially makes his victory sweet was coming as soon as it did to the Meltdown at Merion, where his wedge play let him down twice in the final round.

As far as Tiger goes, I've always been a big fan...for the first time, I'm having doubts he can catch Niclaus for majors won although he still has plenty of time to do it.

as each Tiger-less major goes by it becomes increasingly unlikely that he will win 5 more in his lifetime to break Jack's immortal record of 18. pretty remarkable considering Tiger had 14 major championships at age 32 and has come up empty since.

Here's my personal odds on two of the following propositions:
Tiger will never win another major: 30% chance of that happening
Tiger will break Jack's major record: 8% chance of that happening
