Oui, sans doute, et surtout vivent les francaises!
I was just posting a few old pics of one of yours, who played over and over in French movies. She's still a huge movie star in France. To me, she's one of the most adorable women I've ever seen. She's so delicate and feminine, all the male protective feeling comes out of you like sweat during a marathon... And her daughter is the same way.
Here's a few old pictures of Jane Birkin, and a few of Charlotte Gainsbourg.

You tell yourself that if it was the only two "things" exported ever by the French, it wouldn't be too bad, already. But there's also cheese, wine, foi gras, fine cuisine, haute couture (with all the lovely girls), Cognac, Clavados, pastries, fries, art, litterature, philosophy...
These guys are not that bad at all when you think about it... ;)

France is a wonderful place, I love it. I mean I like Italy too, but France...feels more like home, I think. Anyway, Italy's only a short drive for when i need a fix:wiggle:

Don't worry, Dan, the septic tanks don't like 'em because they routinely tell 'em where to shove their Macdos...Sour grapes is all.

The wondrous Jane Birkin... a lovely singer too. This is from my favourite album of hers Arabesque...

LOL! Indeed. They call it "malbouffe" as you know. The expression is eloquent enough... :)

Her incredible feminine frailty comes out in her singing. That's absolutely unique. It's not like she has an exceptional voice, on the contrary. But she has more soul than the crushing majority of interpreters. To me, she just epitomizes feminity in singing... I always loved her.

Her voice may not be exceptional but there is more emotion in it than anyone I know. It is like a glass on the verge of breaking any time...:heartbroken:

She's so adorable! She's just like her mom! So sweet and lovely! And I must say she's a much better actress! Although her mother had a wider range, she could do both dramatic and funny roles, Charlotte is better in dramas, but appearantly isn't too good in comedies. But anyways as women are concerned, these two are icons for me...

Hey! Prospero, are you or have you ever been a fan of Star Trek, would say the commisionner of the Anti-science-fiction Comitee? I just happened to find this one and retouched it a bit. I hope you like it... ;)
