I would guess that most independent models do NOT actually do porn (I'm talking PORN here... not webcamming, escorting, etc. etc.) solely for the money, simply because there are very few girls on the market who are actually shot frequently enough or can demand the dollar amounts to live off (above the poverty line).

The argument stands that many things mentioned above can ultimately be traced back to having roots in money (hmmm...), but I would venture a guess that if you were suddenly able to strip away all aspects of "other" apart from money (current rates), a good majority of girls would stop shooting porn. In other words, if it weren't "fun" to do, the money would not be enough to continue in the industry.

It is not primarily money that motivates myself to make porn, although I have achieved success in that area.
