Why does Texas say they're pro-life...yet are one of the leaders in executions?

because they're making life easier for their citizens by reducing how many inmates their taxes need to keep alive

WHY do they need to have so many inmates? (2nd why)

WHY do they need to have so many inmates? (2nd why)

because the human population is increasing and humans are incapable of living harmoniously together

Why say you're from PETA...yet drive around in a car with a full leather interior?

because it's artificial leather so you also end up marketing synthetic products that don't require animal sacrifice

WHY are they incapable of living harmoniously toghther? (4th "why", and we're approaching indeed the core of the problem)

Not in my friend's Mercedes it isn't. Glad he's a carnivore though.

Speaking on that...

Why say you're a vegan because you don't like the idea of killing innocent animals for food...yet killing innocent plants is okay?

(I've actually heard someone say this. :ignore:)

because humans are erratic and conflicted by design. each one is entitled to their own opinion making each decision debatable and every action questionable. they lack harmony and cohesion. the only time humans seem to compliment one another is when they're out to hurt each other (like an army or gang)

plants don't have a nervous system- so killing a plant doesn't cause it pain
also, some plants need to be cut/timed to actually keep the entire stem healthier

We're up to more than 5 "why"z. According to the system, we should have some kind of answer... Where was our mistake, Natina? :)
Maybe if we keep going with a bit more why'z...

Regardless, it's still a living thing.

Speaking of killing living things...

How are you going to say you're a Christian, and you follow the Ten Commandments...yet have a can of Raid in your cabinet? That makes you a liar and a killer.

This one is in relation to a friend.

How are you going to talk shit about some cat driving a 1978 Plymouth Volaré (or some other "not cool" vehicle)...while you don't even have a driver's license and are riding the bus (or bumming others for a ride)? I know quite a few folks like this.

My friend made a promise to his late grandmother to drive her car at least four times a week; that's HIS reason. He's a doctor; his other car is an Audi S8.

peta isn't against killing living things. it's against inhumane killing of living things. cutting grass for example is killing (or burning brush) but those aren't inhumane ways of destroying weeds. likewise- there are microbial beings that you kill daily simply by washing your hands/body etc.

as to your second question: a can of raid is used to kill pests. pests can bring disease and are usually a nuisance in human habitats and can also bring discomfort to human beings and/or livestock.

gnite ben in la. if you have more questions troubling you- give me a ring. am here to help (and listen)

I understand that...but the commandment is "Thou shalt not kill." Pest or not, it's still a living thing put on this earth for some reason.

I was raised Catholic...yet I see through the bullshit.

Why read Natina's posts when you can get your information from a reliable source?

Winged insects including bees, moths and butterflies are suffering this year following the UK's late, cold spring, a National Trust report has revealed.
The charity warns the drop in numbers of winged insects could lead to food shortages for birds and bats.

If this was written in English I might understand it; but I have read it several times and I still can't work out the anatomy, even if it is (allegedly) my own. The only thing I ride these days is a bus. That is a large object with wheels, Natina.
