I appreciate the praise but this video was made as kind of camera test for my band's upcoming documentary... quite a while back, in fact. I believe this even predates my legal name change. The info it contains still holds true but the presentation (the way I look) is not representative of my actual lifestyle... it's from the days when certain fences were still being straddled.

I'll be posting a new 'behind the scenes' video about the music I recently recorded for www.bobstgirls.com that will go hand in hand with the July 4th update on his site featuring my latest set.

The 'gorgeous guy' comment is somewhat upsetting as the photo below is what I actually look like everyday and have looked like for quite some time.

Whenever I think I've found my ultimate guitar tone, I can never seem to keep it. Sure as shit, the next time I go to plug in, it doesn't sound right, even if I left my stuff the exact same way.
Also, there are times when I search for other tones, with other guitars and other amps and the process starts all over again. I really don't think it's possible to achieve a tone you'll be happy with forever, though I keep trying.

99% of the time, Good tone = money spent. It's a fact that is kind of tough to face up to but once you're in a position were you can take a fist full of cash up to the Guitar Center and walk with your head held high in to the segregated glass room where they keep all the good stuff, you will most likely be stuck with mid level tone. I was for years. It wasn't till I spent well over 2 grand before I was able to buy an amp that sounded like god by just turning it on and letting the tubes warm up. Guitars don't get exceptional until you break the 1000 dollar barrier as well. Never forget these manufacturers are running a business and they know who they are marketing to. The price point to quality ratio is strictly controlled and a thing they keep kind of hidden from their core customer base. 15 year old kids who start garage bands, noodle around for about a year and never touch an instrument again in their lives..
