Allison Giuva texted a friend about how drunk she was before getting into her car early Saturday morning. Moments later, she allegedly crashed into another vehicle and injured the two victims inside.

She has pleaded not guilty to charges of driving under the influence and driving to endanger. But the 20-year-old woman might want to think hard about how she'll explain this text in court.

A tragic bride has told of her anguish after her husband-to-be was murdered by his friends at his bachelor party.

Mandy Hammond, 41, was left heartbroken after her fiance was brutally beaten to death the night before their wedding, according to The Sun.

Groom Ramsey Raulinautis, 35, went out with pals to celebrate his "last night of freedom”.

But the stag do went badly wrong and Ramsey ended up being viciously beaten by his mates - who then stuffed paper into his clothes and set him on fire like a "human barbecue".

She told how the police called at her door in the early hours to say Ramsey was dead and four of his friends had been arrested.

An American woman was gang-raped Tuesday in the northern Indian resort town of Manali, police said.

The 30-year-old woman was picked up early Tuesday morning by men in a truck as she was hitchhiking back to her guest house after visiting a friend, police officer Sher Singh said.

The three men in the truck then drove to a secluded spot and raped her, he said. She went to police and they filed a rape case.

No arrests had been made as of Tuesday afternoon, Singh said.

A Houston high school English teacher had regular sex with a female student she was supposed to be mentoring, police said.

Kelly Ann Garcia, 29, is accused of seducing the 16-year-old girl by telling her she'd featured in an erotic dream.

Cops claims the Hastings High School educator would hang around her alleged victim's classroom, even though she wasn't her teacher.

Court documents allege she took her to a Starbucks for coffee on March 21 and confessed about the inappropriate dream.

Seven days later she texted the girl to say she'd split up with her boyfriend and that she had "romantic" feelings for her.

They met up the next evening and "kissed passionately."

The following day they went to a sex shop to buy a toy before going back to Garcia's home for sex.

They are then alleged to have had sex several more times over the following week.

Fellow teachers became suspicious after hearing rumors of the affair.

But, despite being under investigation, Garcia allegedly kept on meeting up with the girl.

Police claim the teenager's dad caught the pair together at a park on May 21, but Garcia jumped in her car and drove off before he could confront her.

Garcia, who has been charged with indecency with a child and sexual assault of a child, was suspended from her job.

The girl’s mother called police after reading text messages between her daughter and Parker on the girl’s cellphone, the Star Tribune reported.

Parker originally was planning to do her own escorting but was deemed "too ugly" by a panel of potential Johns.

Police sources confirmed that they had a report about a June 29 sexual assault involving Hadden, and that he was taken into custody the following day, but the record was sealed.

Hadden's bail agreement requires him to wear a surgical mask whenever he is more than 50ft from his residence.

The veteran porn actor known as Mr. Marcus was sentenced Tuesday to 30 days in jail after pleading no contest to knowingly exposing his co-stars to syphilis.

The 42-year-old actor, whose real name is Jesse Spencer, was also ordered to perform 15 days of community service and serve three years on probation.

His infection was discovered in July 2012 during a routine industry screening before he was to begin making a film. He immediately received a penicillin shot, but when he was rescreened 11 days later he still showed signs of syphilis. Authorities say he altered the results of that second test and returned to work the following day.

Spencer is jailed on $200,000 bail in an unrelated drunken driving case. An email was sent to his management company seeking comment.

Spencer has said previously he thought he was no longer infectious when he returned to work.

Prosecutors said he took part in two adult movie shoots within a week of failing the second test.

Two actresses who worked with him contacted police after a producer discovered the altered test result. Neither woman contracted syphilis, the city attorney's office said.

Spencer was one of nearly a dozen porn actors who tested positive during a syphilis outbreak last summer that led industry officials to briefly call for a moratorium on filming.

In November, Los Angeles County voters approved a ballot initiative requiring porn actors use condoms for most film shoots. The industry has sued to overturn the law, arguing that its own testing guidelines for sexually transmitted diseases are sufficient.

A 66-year-old man visited the doctor for abdominal pain and received a stunning diagnosis: He is genetically a woman.

The Chinese patient, raised as male, is short in stature at just 4 feet, 5 inches, is able to grow a beard, and has sexually ambiguous genitals, with a micropenis and no detectable testicles, doctors at Hong Kong's Kwong Wah Hospital noted.

When doctors examined him further, they found he has the internal organs of a female, and that his stomach pain was caused by a large, benign ovarian cyst.

The patient has a rare combination of Turner syndrome and congenital adrenal hyperplasia (CAH), doctors determined. Turner syndrome occurs when a female lacks two X chromosomes, while CAH affects the production of cortisol by the adrenal glands. Both can interfere with the development of reproductive organs and the appearance of secondary sex characteristics.

"The patient, by definition, is a woman who cannot get pregnant. But she also has CAH, which gave her the appearance of a man," Chinese University pediatrics professor Ellis Hon Kam-lun told the South China Morning Post. "It's an interesting and very rare case of having the two combinations. It probably won't be seen again in the near future."

The patient intends to keep living as a man and may undergo hormone replacement therapy, doctors said.

Co-hosts of radio show 'The Pursuit of Happiness' committed suicide

Lynne Rosen was a psychotherapist who co-hosted the show 'The Pursuit of Happiness' with motivational speaker John Littig. The Brooklyn couple committed suicide together last week by putting plastic bags over their heads and inhaling helium.

The couple, who were found dead on a couch in the living room of their Park Slope apartment, left behind two notes, police said Wednesday.

“We’re going to do this together,” was the gist of Littig’s note, sources said.

Littig said, without explanation, that he could not watch his wife suffer any more.

“Her note basically said she was sorry for doing this,” a police source said. “We believe she had some psychological problems.”

Until their decomposing bodies were found Monday, the couple had been best known as the hosts of a self-help radio show on WBAI-FM.

They used what’s described on the FDNY web site as “exit bags” to kill themselves.

They are “fast becoming one of the most prescribed forms of Euthanasia worldwide,” the site says. “They are said to provide a fast, peaceful, undetectable death to those wishing to commit suicide.”

Joseph Brooks, the songwriter who composed “You Light Up My Life” which became a hit for Debby Boone, used the same kind of helium-filled bag to kill himself two years ago after he was accused of raping 13 women.

That last story about the double suicide of the radio hosts bothers me a bit. It reminded me of how I felt when Kurt Cobain checked out. I was 11 years old at the time and didn't quite understand it. Suicide is such a tragedy since mental illness has a negative stigma attached to it.

But rehearsals for the testimony have worn on the 15-year-old who watched her superstar father become a shell of himself before he died, a source said.

Michael Jackson’s teenage daughter, Paris, tried to kill herself early yesterday by scarfing down pills — after struggling for weeks to assert her independence from her family guardians and trying to get closer to her biological mom, Debbie Rowe, according to sources.

The 15-year-old was also motivated to act out after one of the family elders forbade her from attending a Marilyn Manson concert tonight in LA. Her legal guardian is Jacko’s mom, Katherine.

“She wants to spend more time with [biological mother] Debbie Rowe, and she’s getting push-back from the family, everyone,” a family insider said. “The family has been saying ‘Well, where was [Rowe] when this was happening or that was happening?’

The teenager was talking with someone on a suicide hot line at the time she took the pills, and that person was so worried, he or she called 911.

Bolivian mob buries alive suspected rapist/murderer alongside victim at her funeral

A Bolivian teen suspected of raping and murdering a woman was buried alive on top of her casket during her funeral by an angry mob of grieving relatives.

Santos Ramos, 17, allegedly sexually assaulted and strangled 35-year-old Leandra Arias Janco in the village of Colquechaca, in the Potosi district of Bolivia's southern highlands, on Sunday.

At her funeral Wednesday, local media reports a group of 200 vigilantes captured the teen and tied him up.

With Janco's coffin lowered into the ground, they reportedly threw him on top and started to cover him with earth.

It is not yet clear whether he survived the incident.

But it has emerged that it was the second instance of mob justice handed out in the area that day.

Quechua residents of Tres Cruces stoned a suspected thief to death and burned his accomplice alive after they were busted stealing a car and killing its driver.

Sources said lynchings were not uncommon in the area, where the justice system is often corrupt and communities are known to police themselves.

A new study from Australia's Melbourne University found kids of gay parents are growing up healthy and well-adjusted, despite continued discrimination against their families.

Worried about children growing up with gay parents? Well, stop. These kids are alright.

That's according to the initial findings of a new study from Melbourne University in Australia that found kids of same-sex couples are on average even healthier and more adjusted than kids of straight couples.

The Australian Study of Child Health in Same-Sex Families, called the world's largest study of its kind, drew upon health data from over 500 children aged 5-17 and 315 gay, lesbian and bisexual parents. An interim report of the study's findings was released this week.

Researchers said they found no difference between gay-parent and straight-parent households in the kids' self-esteem, emotional health, and the amount of time they spent with their parents.

But children of gay couples scored "significantly better" when it came to general health as well as family cohesion, meaning the families got along better with one another.

Researchers noted the same-sex parents and their children "continue to face discrimination in a variety of contexts."

"These early findings suggest that Australian children with same-sex attracted parents are developing well," researchers wrote. "They ... score well on measures of health and wellbeing in the face of discrimination."

"Because of the situation that same-sex families find themselves in, they are generally more willing to communicate and approach the issues that any child may face at school, like teasing or bullying," lead researcher Dr. Simon Crouch told Australian newspaper The Age.

"This fosters openness and means children tend to be more resilient. That would be our hypothesis."

A sick Minnesota mom who pimped out her special-needs daughter for sex has been sentenced to six months in a county workhouse.

Cheryl Tchida, 51, dumped her 19-year-old daughter — who has dwarfism, the mental age of a 5-year-old and an IQ of just 45 — at various locations over a six week period.

The teen — who can't tell time, read, or care for herself — was raped by several men and even ended up getting pregnant.

A judge heard Tchida first dropped her daughter off at a Roseville motel on July 3, 2012, so she could "hang out" with a 17-year-old pal she'd met days earlier.

Once inside, the man — who'd brought along his uncle and four others — set up an online dating account on LiveLinks to advertise her as a hooker charging $200 per act.

They then proceeded, against the teen's will, to gang-rape her.

She tried to get her mom to pick her up, but her phone calls were ignored.

The following day, one of the men then drove her to his apartment and repeatedly raped her for several days.

He eventually let her leave.

But, despite her daughter's claims that she'd been raped, Tchida returned her to him days later at a Minneapolis motel where she was again forced to have sex with several men.

Then, in August, Tchida discovered her daughter was pregnant and decided to call the cops to report the multiple assaults.

Tchida pleaded guilty in April to neglect.

Judge Gary Bastian sentenced her on Wednesday to six months in the Ramsey County workhouse.

He also added a six-month suspended jail sentence with two years probation.

Prosecutor Tara Patet, of the St. Paul city attorney's office, was quoted by Pioneer Press as saying she "directly put her in harm's way time and time and time again."

The teen, who needs round-the-clock care, has since been placed in foster care.

During the trial of former New York police officer Gilberto Valle, testimony revealed that the so-called “Cannibal Cop” had visited websites and chat rooms that promoted the sick fetish of murdering and eating women. Acworth argues that even though Valle was going to such sites while planning to do the same thing to his own wife in real life doesn’t mean one should blame the porn.

“I believe this individual would have committed such crimes regardless,” Acworth said. “If this statement were true [that the sites are to blame], one would have to look closely at the whole horror genre. For instance, I do not believe films such as the ‘Saw’ series cause people to commit heinous crimes.”

Likewise, the case of Ohio kidnapper and serial rapist Ariel Castro, who abducted at least three women and held them captive at his home as his sex slaves for a decade, doesn’t give Acworth pause that videos of women being chained in basement dungeons lead to an increase in sexual crimes.

“Many people fantasize about the abduction role-play scenario,” Acworth told the Daily News. “This certainly does not mean those people actually want to be genuinely abducted and raped any more than someone who enjoys being handcuffed by their partner would like to be arrested.”

UCLA psychology professor Neil Malamuth, who has conducted extensive research into whether violent pornographic depictions influence real world behavior, says that Acworth’s view is too simplistic.

San Francisco psychotherapist Julian Redwood says that while many of his patients use pornography as a therapeutic means of addressing issues of control, the industry as a whole often presents unrealistic portrayals of sexuality.

“Even if it is consensual, pornography can propagate the idea that women, in general, like to be dominated, and men can come away with the idea that they should be dominating, even if that isn't what they actually want either,” Redwood said.

Excessive porn consumption, Redwood says, can lead a person to desire more and more extreme depictions of sexuality, such as those shown at Kink.com, in order to get the same dopamine release.

Not all researchers agree, however.

“There’s absolutely no evidence that pornography does anything negative,” Milton Diamond, director of the Pacific Center for Sex and Society at the University of Hawaii at Manoa, told “Scientific American.” “It’s a moral issue, not a factual issue.”

A study published in April in the “Journal of Sexual Medicine” looked at porn consumption in the Netherlands and found that it had only minimal effects on sexual behavior.

“Pornography is not as big and bad a wolf as we thought it was, and maybe we should focus on other factors,” Gert Martin Hald, a clinical psychologist at the University of Copenhagen in Denmark, told HealthDay News. “It does explain a portion of sexual behavior, but it is modest.”

Researchers are also exploring links between membership on the Hung Angels transexual forum and the love most members seem to have for tranny cock.
