Pornstars from the past vs Pornstars from the present

I prefer the ones from the present. No offense, but many from the distant past (i.e. the early 80s) really don't do anything for me. Girls such as Venus Lux, Chanel Couture, and Annalise Rose get my motor running more.

As far as TS ladies are concerned the present set are WAY more appealing BUT as far as GG are concerned the 80's and early 90's were better than todays lot. Back then when a girl did anal it was hot, nasty and pretty much taboo as you rarely saw it in mainstream porn. Today anal is all too commonplace with todays performers (again talking about mainstream porn here) and although I'm still aroused by an anal scene, it doesn't hold that "forbidden pleasure" mystique that it once had.

first off...it depends on what the "past" is

if past is 70s-90s, clearly the present is far superior. if present is 2012/3 vs like 5 years ago...i'm indifferent.

i do find, however, that some more recent debuts are supplanting old faves. Case in point, extremely popular girls that I used to love, though they still have prolific careers, when the years have not been kind, i tend to move on.

I prefer today's top girls such as Eva Lin, Sarina Valentina, and Venus Lux. The past's girls weren't my type.

Honestly, I've been feeling like the girls from the early 2000's have everyone beat. I just like the whole "classy, sexy" aesthetic that was going on back then. Todays scene is more about young and raunchy. These early 2000's girls just look dam near perfect. Just look at the Allanah Starr party treads. This excludes Thai ladyboys who seem to get better with every generation.

The first lady I saw was in the 80's. That was Sulka on the playboy channel (There was a TS birthday card at a local record shop, a little before that, but really it was Sulka). And from there it was any picture I or movie I coudl get my hands on. There was on BBS service (Windy City) that used to have a lot of photos. And I downloaded a lot of them. I still have a little bit of a thing for Sulka, but admittedly she's a little rough around the edges. Not nearly as sculpted and perfected as a lot of today's ladies are.

There are things about both past and present I like. I am not a tattoo guy, so I really hate that almost every model I look at these days seems to have them, not so crazy about the tiny body with the enormous ass look that is popular now these days either. That said, I think that today the ladies are generally more beautiful then they were in the past. I'd just rather have the 70's, 80's and early 90's style back.

That said, here are some faves, just to help push the debate along.

all of the older material is interesting to look at for nostalgia, but even the 2 girls that got me really interested, megan chavalier and kim devine really don't do much for me anymore. it isn't a matter of age at all...i just don't even look at their old stuff anymore because more modern girls have a more "evolved" look

Sulla never really did anything for me; Kelly Michaels and Angelique Richard did. I even liked Karen Dior (even though she wasn't full-time). A few more "Eighties Ladies" were okay as well, but not really my type.

Ironically Seka, Ginger Lynn, Amber Lynn, and Nina Hartley STILL gets my rocks off. Go figure!

I guess it comes down to exactly when in time you became I the rested in the girls. Since I was still growing up in the eighties, that's why I have said feelings for the pioneers. I really came to love TS stars in the mid to late nineties when Meghan, Kimberly, Lisa Lawrence, and Gia Darling were on top. But, as usual, some new girl came alone and changed my tastes. I WILL say Vaniity still does it for me though.

Who's going to be the next "it" girl? Jane Marie had the crown IMHO, but apparently she is no more. Venus Lux (as I previously mentioned) is high on my list; not only does she have beauty, she has brains.

if i had a vote at last year's tranny awards, it would have gone to venus for girl of the year. though initially star struck with jane marie as well, my interest waned when i realized that venus was as amazing as she is.

right now, just looking at N. American girls, venus' beauty and productivity are hard to match. i'm really into eva cassini, natalie foxx and denni as well and i wouldn't mind if any of those 4 were to assume the reigns of the queen to tranny porn.

Maybe, but only the Welsh would try to get into a fleece while the sheep is still wearing it.

Or at least that's the usual case for the defence.

hey....since we are on the topic of past vs. present...what do you guys do when you start to lose interest in a particular performer...do you keep her stuff around on an extra hd or something, or delete and move on?

Good question. I just keep the stuff; never know when interest will be rekindled. Many times he thought of certain performers pop into ones head, causing them to seek out their content.

Earlier I mentioned Ginger Lynn. I later went to "the collection" and pulled out my New Wave Hookers DVD. She was on my mind!

I guess it comes down to exactly when in time you became I the rested in the girls.

I'm not sure about that as when I started my my favorite girls were Ts Doll, Renata Davila, Amanda Vaz, Labelle Sandorram, Sheeba, Monik Lorran, Foxxy. I didnt know these girls until 2008. By this time the girls who I think trump them were on their way out or already gone.

Its just the classy, sexy aesthetic that really gets me about girls like early Sheeba Starr(Christy), Patricia Araujo, Camila De Castro, Amber Vaughn, Mia Fever. I mean I can picture Ivana Diamonds getting fucked in some uber opulent setting wearing like 75,000 in diamonds. Todays girls like Jane Marie, Natalie Foxx, Nody Nadia, Domino etc seemed to have skipped the elegant quality of the late 90's early 2000's but have this sort of perky, down for whatever, young girl kind of quality. A girl like Jane Marie looks as if she gets fucked in Motel 6's by cute huys who she meets in at Mcdonalds who she tells to wait in the bathroom while she handles her client. Theres nothing wrong with that but thats kinda how I see this generation.

I tend to stereotype groups and eras. For example, there were the:

80's to Mid 90's (Shemales)-Easy to locate(tranny strolls), inexpensive and sexually liberal(to put it mildly). Had a seemingly free spirit quality and seemed to own their status and sexuality. Just a theory but this generation was, I think, the last to remember the Stonewall riots so there may have been more pride amongst the girls of this era.
I wasnt there but with the stories I heard this era seemed really fun.
-Dana Douglas, Sulka, Anna Alexandre,

Late 90's to about 2006 ( Elegant transsexual)-Looking at the girls from this time one would think that a transsexual was someone who only a rich person could encounter. This generation was probably thee best looking generation there has ever been. They were the first girls on the internet and it could take you an entire day off to see them all on the ShemaleYum. The best!
-Yasmin Lee, Vaniity, Gia Darling, Allanah Starr

2007 to Present (Twitter T-girl Pornstars)- Pretty, young, passible, perky. Although todays "tgirls" dont seem as sophisticated as the previous generation they certainly are attractive and probably the most passable. Also, a lot of them seem to have this "I'm down for whatever" mentality and usually are. I met a girl off line who paid for an short-term motel as soon as we met. There seems to be a new hot pornstar every three months who, like her peers, is always looking for a captivating headline for their escort ad. Fun chicks.
-Khloe Hart, Adrianna Rush, Kimbella, Hazel Tucker

No disrespect!! I love the tranzies. Really thou I have a real appreciation for t-girls and I'm not trying to offend.:)

When I moved in with my ex, I got rid of everything I had. Just trying to make it so I was only about her. But ever since I started collecting again, I've never gotten rid of anything. I don't really lose interest, its always there, but I get distracted by others. I usually find my way back to the ladies who I have taken an interest in over and over again though.

Wish I still had my 80's and early 90's archive. I miss some of those photos.

RallyCola
05-29-2013, 11:40 PM
well...if you don't delete your archive...do you update it?

for example, i love joanna jet. i loved her years ago when she was a part timer first debuting on yum and today, i think she is amazing and i am an avid consumer of her work. but...someone like jesse flores, who i used to adore, i no longer download any of her new material. it doesn't do much for me anymore so i debate all the time freeing up hard drive space by deleting the older material as well. that i maintained a fanaticism for joanna jet and not for jesse flores means it really has nothing to do with age or productivity, just waned interest.

Yeah, occasionally. Like, I've had a thing for Jennifer Paris for years. I've got a ton of photos of her. But if a thread of hers pops up on here, I always check it out. Or someone posts a photo of her I like, or if she posts one herself, I always grab it.

Does anybody know how endowed Tula was before SRS ? Just curious especially after 2 things I heard about her .

1] The joke/reference Tula's hand me down .

2] Phil Donahue said that when he 1st interviewed her she was so feminine and flirtatious that there was know way she was not a GG . That was until he saw her BIG Feet .
