The problem here is that for someone to jump the shark, they must have been good in the first place before becoming bad. FRANKLIN has always been dreadful and in the middle of the desert with no sharks in sight to jump.

I'm afraid to ask which one of his usual topics brought on this thread? Racisim, gayness, something insulting to the ladies on here, some criticism of the porn industry that is usually lame, or some BS thing he feels victimized over?

If he finds a new topic to offend with, I'd be amazed. But he "jumped the dune" a long time ago.

I like Franklin. He's out there, but willing to say what's on his mind.

I think he take himself a little too seriously, though, and some of his complaints are ridiculous. And, of course, there are the value judgements he continues to make.

Honestly, I think he's just young and his frontal lobe hasn't fully developed- he'll be more rational soon enough.
