Good luck with audit and accounting. I did my undergrad in those, worked for an audit firm in Chicago, and hated it. Some people love it, some hate it. I thought I'd love it until I actually started doing it.However, I am very glad I got the degree. It led to my current job as the controller of a bar franchising company. I still do the accounting, but I get free parties sponsored by liquor vendors and meet far more interesting people.

A couple of years experience can get you in a lot of other fields. And if you pass the CPA exam in the States, you can definitely do a lot more. Not sure if they have a CPA style equivalent in Russia, you guys and gals probably use international standards instead of GAAP.

I hear its harder to pass the CPA exam than the bar, but I have never sat for it. It opens a lot of doors in finance and accounting for sure though.
