New York City, NY – Legendary Drag Icon and current Rupaul’s Drag U Dean of Drag Lady Bunny will be hosting Tranny Strip this Friday at Evolve Lounge in New York City’s hip Upper Eastside. She is also scheduled to perform that night.
“I am so excited to have my friend and Legendary Drag Icon of the World Lady Bunny hosting Tranny Strip again,” said Tranny Strip Promoter John Ed. “It’s been more than a year since her last appearance with us and we can’t wait for this Friday. She is a hysterical person in real life and does the funniest and most original amazing shows any drag queen could possibly do! She is NYC family and we are proud to welcome our world famous drag sister back to our NYC stage!”
With her oversized bouffant hairdos and infectious laughter, Lady Bunny is hard to miss. She is best known for founding the NYC drag festival Wigstock and her appearances in Wigstock: The Movie, To Wong Foo, Another Gay Sequel, Sex and the City, and most recently on Rupual’s Drag U, to name a few. She also contributes to Star magazine’s popular Worst of the Week column and in 2010 was selected by V magazine, along with Marc Jacobs and Lady Gaga, as one of NYC’s most notable residents. The event will also include "MILAN" from RuPaul's Drag Race Season 4 Hosting & Performing!! Milan will also be Celebrating her Birthday!!
