You should try blue cheese dressing on the french fries in Holland- or even just melted bleu de gex. But mayo is nasty.

I don't use ketchup at all- not for anything, especially burgers.

Ketchup on burgers is for mädchen und hausfrauen.

For the love of God , has every standard of civilized behavior been totally expelled from humanity? I tremble for the survival of our species with all this talk of putting non-ketchup substances on French fries.

Well, everything's usually better with ketchup... But lately, I've grown partial to sweet potato fries & that flavor mix doesn't quite work for me. Can't help but wonder how roots like turnips or jicama would work if sliced & fried the same way.

I've decided my favourite would be a good splash of Libby's mayonnaise on my fries. mmmmmmmmmmm!:D

Traditional dressing for fries if you have Fish 'n Chips in the UK: salt and vinegar.

I either eat my fries saturated in vinegar or else with truffle oil. I wish more American restaurants would serve vinegar with fries... I always have to ask and usually they don't have it.

Blue cheese baked onto fries, plated beside a ribeye (medium rare) to soak up the juice and fat.

Damn, I need breakfast.

Ketchup. SMH.

Fuck yeah! When I'm done with my intensive weekend shoots, I treat myself to chili cheese fries. Remy is to blame for my addiction. The second time we shot together, she made me drive her to get chili cheese fries and I had to smell them the whole time while we shot.

The kicker - by the time we were done the place was closed so I couldn't get any :(

Besides for you being Super Hot, I like your style. Fries can be dipped in Chili, ketchup, BBQ sauce, or my fav - Heinz 57. I also love hash browns the same way (no chili there) as well as with eggs.

With fish and chips I can understand the vinegar, and do like vinegar on a lot of things like broccoli but no to mayo.

There's a shop on 2nd Ave and 4th street in NYC called Pomme Frits. All they sell are Belgium Fries. They also serve about 20 different kinds of flavored mayo as well as "Belgium Mayo", malt vinegar, yellow mustard and of course KETCHUP.
Stop there a few times, tried a couple of different flavors of mayo. Turns out it's either Malt Vinegar (that's the English part of me) or my personal fave, Heinz KETCHUP.

A restaurant that doesn't have vinegar -of any kind? Malt, balsamic etc? Never heard of that before. Be like one that doesn't have salt and pepper.
