Ex-Porn Actor Sues Palm Beach School District After Tutoring Signs Are Removed From Schools

The former porn actor argues the tutoring business and his adult entertainment company are unrelated

An ex-porn actor is suing the Palm Beach School District after signs for his tutoring business were removed from Boca Raton schools, according to the Sun Sentinel (http://www.sun-sentinel.com/news/education/fl-sign-tutoring-porn-20130507,0,5425831.story).
David Mech, 36, who tutors students as the "Happy/Fun Math Tutor," is also known as Dave Pounder, the "Happy/Fun Porn Guy" who owns an adult entertainment business and has starred in a number of adult films, the newspaper said.
School district officials argue the tutoring and porn companies share the same business address, but Mech says the tutoring business is a separate company from Dave Pounder Productions, which stopped producing porn in 2010, the report said.

The Palm Beach School District responded with this statement:

We are concerned because we have been contacted by a number of parents regarding this issue, and the District will stand by what is ultimately in the best interest of the students."

Sex is obviously part of life so of course you are not going to ban everyone who has had sex from tutoring kids...but if the kids have access to watching their tutor have sex, especially porn, then yes.

If I caught my underage nieces or nephews watching porn I would probably take the time to have a little talk about exactly what "PORN" was and what safe consensual sex was.

Exactly my point...that being said, it's nothing against porn performers...if they decide to go into regular work or start a business, of course they should be able to...it's just that some professions will not be suitable for the reasons you outlined.

I totally support the LGBT community as far as rights, marriage, employment...all that.
