COBB COUNTY, GA (CBS ATLANTA) - Cobb County authorities have released the identity of two people who were killed in a wreck on Austell Road that happened around 4:15 Wednesday morning.

Two cars were involved, according to Cobb County police.
Chrystina L. Stanford, 29, and Gary V. Sheppard, 41, died on scene.
Investigators said an Austell police officer was attempting to pull Stanford over near Maxham Road.
As the officer attempted to approach, Stanford headed northbound on Maxham Road in the southbound lanes at a high rate of speed.
After passing Sweetwater Lane on Austell Road, Stanford collided head on with Sheppard's car, according to police.

Having to delete two hateful and spiteful messages posted by brand new members (trolls) this morning, I'll have a final word on this.

Nobody is saying what Sheeba done here was right, it wasn't. She caused another person's death through making a very bad choice. There doesn't seem to have been a decision to take her own or someone else's life yet it happened. There is no contention to that whatsoever. This one choice should not be the only defining moment of her life.
She is still someone who had family and friends. All of the people I know who had worked with her or met her, only had good things to say. She was involved in trans-activism.

Her sister put a Fundly post up to get $1000 towards her funeral expenses which I was happy to promote and put some money towards. No matter how she died, her family still need to send a loved one off.

Those of you coming onto this post to show disrespect, to start calling her names, to start an autopsy on why she didn't stop for the police are seriously, out of order. This isn't some random news report, this is a member of our community which a lot of people knew and/or cared for.

If you have a problem with how I or the other moderators, manage this forum - then you have your own choices to make, delete it from the bookmarks and go elsewhere but if after being asked, you continue on the same path, then you will be removed. I really liked Sheeba, apart from one ugly scar on her thigh. But she had an amazing voice, body and a fair face and she was a great performer in front of the camera. She went out in a bad way, obviously she had a dark side but who is perfect? And what actor or model is going to let you know everything about them on camera?

There are starlets I used to squeeze a few out to while they were alive...but when they passed on it just didn't feel right. Camila de Castro comes to mind. It really bothers me that people are relating the horrifically tragic circumstances many TS die from to this particular case. They aren't similar at all.

I think the reporter could have worded it a bit better. But I do not find him being disrespectful at all. The fact that she was Transsexual was going to come out and if they are going to report the full story that is something they had to report. I think leaving out would seem odd to me and anyone else watching this story unfold.
