Making this 3D stuff is addictive... will definitely become a part of my site in the near future.

Cool stuff. What are you using to create those?

DAZ3D Studio 4.5 - The only thing I can take any real credit for is setting up the scenes, arranging the models, sculpting their look... lighting, camera angels, backdrop placement, things like that... sounds like a lot, but I won't be satisfied until I'm creating my own characters from the ground up... everything you see here was bought in the same way that you'd buy a model car kit, so it's a lot more akin to playing with dolls than anything else... the more money you spend on skin textures, costumes, props, etc. the more robust the scene will look so long as you have an eye for symmetry, proportion, etc. Oh, and patience... that's the number 1 ingredient with this kind of stuff.

Cool stuff--I got into 3d modeling to create armors for Skyrim and Dragon Age by using online tutorials. While it's not the same as creating scenes, there's a certain addiction and rush that comes from making something out of nothing and then being able to use it on my toons in the game.

Cheers for that. I think that' the same program Chaos said he uses too.

I wasn't for one moment suggesting that anything other than your imagination was the real key ... :D

I was starting on learning Daz a few months ago..after years of starting and stopping both it and Poser...decided to hold off til I get a new computer that can really handle it to try further.

Hey Jamie,

You may want to check out Cinema4d. it can give you motion in backgrounds as well as your primary objects...It was one of the programs we used at the tv station back in my old life.

DAZ3d does full on animation as well... I simply didn't animate this scene. I did save it though so I can go back at anytime and make a little movie out of it. I'd like to story board something first... also, I have secret plans to stretch the program beyond its intended scope and function so that's eating up time I'd use to animate a little action.

There must be some work that goes into making the animated stuff. I think it's really good how they can do that.
