Question about Magic Johnson's son

Personally I like TMZ. They had footage of Magic's son and his boyfriend walking and talked about basketball. Also cool.

Here is my question.

EJ (the son) is 20.

Magic announced he was HIV positive 22 years ago.

How was that safely done?

Am I missing something?

I don't know the facts but I do know HIV+ parents can have negative children but there also is the possibility that she was artificially inseminated and it may be possible (presuming) to do that without transmitting a virus.

Those were my thoughts. I had never heard of sperm being cleaned of HIV per se to impregnate a lady.

Made me wonder if EJ was adopted or if I had missed something.

Either way dude is obviously confident in who he is which is hats off to his parents.
