I know folks will say to check the net - I have and surprisingly there isn't a lot of current info. A city this big has to have a bar or two where cds and trannies hang out. I know about The Rose that has a tranny show but I am not really interested unless the clientele is trans as well. I am looking for a bar where I can have a drink and chat and observe some ladies.

S4 in the Oak Lawn neighborhood is probably your best bet. The Rose Room you refer to is within S4 and they have some kind of amateur cd/trans talent competition every Thursday night. My guess is you'll have better luck on a Friday or Saturday though. Good luck:)

This COUNTRY has very little to offer in the way of trans bars that aren't really gay bars, outside of NYC,LA and perhaps Chicago. Been to this place in Dallas and it gets packed with gay guys trying to push up. Not cool!

You wont find specific TG clubs anywhere unless like in NY or LA. Tgirls go to regular bars, we dont always go where every ts is! I know most of my gfs in Dallas go to str8 clubs! Unless they are performing at like S4 at Rose Room but thats a gay club!

JR's has a drag show on Monday nights that attracts a few. I met Krystal Summers there (she was hosting, not sure if that's a full time gig though) and got to talk to her all night until like 6 am when I had to catch my flight to Orlando. Very cool chick, a lot of fun to talk to, but I was a little disappointed she had never seen Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back.

theres a great place in downtown dallas, i believe near Deep Ellum, called The Church. It's a gothy, rocker, emo, punk metal club but great atmosphere, cheap drinks and as far as I know, there are a few CD ( trust me you can tell lol ) and a few TS's that I know of.

First and last time I went there, I learned that one must be accompanied by a TGirl, wearing a dress shirt. I was disappointed because I had called for directions and they never told me any of that. I went there to find my person!
