In my brief time of involvement in this subculture i've seen both of these terms thrown around a lot, and though I'd rather not believe this to be the case, all i can glean so far is that chaser means unattractive man, and admirer means desirable man. Can someone tell me the actual difference, or have i pretty much got the gist?

I don't know why there needs to be different words for guys who are into trans chicks, since it's pretty much any guy under the right circumstances.

I think the only delineation I care to make is of bottoms and tops.

You're all cocksuckers though, when it comes down to it.

Chaser= only out for sex. Some could be skilled enough to talk a good game. But in the end... Life is more complex than that. However many people settle for simple terms. Some call men that who have serial relationships. I think in reality relationships end for many reasons. So t-women will sometime label a man, rather than face a more complex in-depth analysis of why things did not work out.

They don't mean the same thing. An admirer is anybody who is interested in transsexuals or transgendered people; Pretty general. A chaser is somebody who's interest borders on obsession, compulsion, or harassment. Some men go completely out of their way to sustain short serial relationships with women they aren't compatible with just because they're trans. I'm pretty sure guys like that qualify as chasers, too.

I don't notice the word "chaser" being tossed around like a general insult anymore, but it used to be. Guys who had a few personality quirks, dudes who were annoying, cheap bastards, and men that didn't understand how to conduct themselves were all quickly written off as chasers and dispatched.

There doesn't need to be. The two terms aren't interchangeable and aren't often confused. The only time the term chaser really gets on my nerves is when it's used on guys who don't know any better. Dudes that really don't mean to be rude, but don't know how else to phrase shit. A little patience and education goes a long way.

I've long been convinced that everybody is a cocksucker. Words to live by.

Same difference as between a hooker and an escort. Call me anything you like as long as my dick gets wet.

A tgirl calls him an "admirer" when she likes him and a "chaser" when she doesn't.

The people I like and treat me how I enjoy being treated are admirers. Everyone else is a chaser.

I call myself an escort, hooker, or prostitute.

Huh?

A strawberry is a prostitute that wastes all their money on hard drugs. That cycle cannot be broken.

I just call them "a guy" or "this guy" or "a boy" or "this boy" or "the boy" or "a gentleman" or "this gentleman" or "gentlemen" or "guys" or "creeps" or "weirdos" or "assholes" or "mugs" or sometimes "tricks" or "johns" or "whales" or "custies".

I don't feel the need to adopt special language for people based on what I happen to be.

Or trades sex usually for booger sugar. A hooker is supposed to supply the crack not suck it all up. Leave some for the client fer Christ sakes.

This. Both terms are antiquated and belittling. Lots of guys who are into porn also occasionally watch TS porn and get turned on by it. It's no big deal anymore.

What I find amusing is when self-proclaimed straight guys openly admit they have to be "extra careful" when in venues where TS's may blend in with the females. This situation most often arises when they are looking for prostitutes. So they admit finding TS's and even cross dressers attractive, but they are worried they will become gay by acting on it. OK. I suppose if they are looking for a pussy to fuck they will be disappointed at some point, but if all they are getting is hand job or a blowjob what does it even matter?

That was my original take on the difference, but now i think i like Mcbutts take. admirer equals interest, chaser equals obsession. This also explains why guys who pay for it are looked down upon and thought of as faggots and chasers by their providers. Theyre so obsessed that they cant let it happen naturally, they have to pay for forced, awkward and unsexy encounter. A sad thing indeed, not to be able to respect your paying customer, but i think its the nature of this particular beast. The other part of it being that most ts girls would rather men not acknowledge the reality that they have dicks and just view them as biological women whose pussies are arranged in their anuses. Both sides are very unrealistic, cruel, and judgmental to the other. Although i also realize that there are plenty of great people and good lovers on both sides of this argument. I was speaking in generalized terms

Admirer is what the more enlightened males who respect transsexuals and enjoy their company, call themselves and others of their ilk. Chasers is what some of the more hostile females of the species call us together with those men who are genuinely fixated only on the genitals of the ladies in question.

Simple, one has money and the other don't.
