Here is the problem with threads like this: they pose a question that most will answer honestly because they have been socialized into a certain reaction (rightfully so in this case, I suppose). Some will remain silent and not answer at all due to not adhering to the socially acceptable behavior. Still others, who have definitely engaged in the taboo practice, will shout the loudest about how said practice is insane, especially at those brave enough to admit it.

Where are you getting your stats? I don't disagree with most of what you are saying, but I am curious as to whether you are referring to HIV risk or just STD risk in general. If you're talking HIV risk, there is virtually NO risk from kissing, and arguable (meaning some medical experts will say there is NO risk, others some low risk) from being the top in vaginal sex.
