I remember him way back from the old World Class days in Texas. Always a character. RIP Bill Moody.

Ah, yes, Percival Pringle III. He was a card and will be missed.

Dino, I'm impressed with your memory of WCCW at the world-famous Sportatorium delivered to our homes by the affable Bill Mercer. Von Erich family (tragedies), Freebirds, Jimmy Garvin, Chris Adams, et al. Those were the days.

One of the Pritchard Brothers, Bruce. Remember Dr Tom Pritchard too? Bruce is at TNA now. Brother Love did originally manage The Undertaker.

Thanks. I love the territories of the 1980s. I used to watch World Class, then Bill Watts' UWF, then Pro Wrestling This Week for all the news about the territories.

I was a big Kevin Sullivan fan as a kid. Couldn't get any Florida Wrestling on TV so I followed his many diabolical acts through the magazines.

My fondest memory of him though will always be my favorite segment of The Funeral Parlor:

21 years later and it still gives me goosebumps. Rest in peace, Paul Bearer.

Bobby "The Brain" is still barely holding on. I'd put a recent pic but it's too sad. Monsoon passed away years ago. "Mean" Gene Okerlund is alive and well. Saw him the other day on TV looking pretty OK.

I live in Orlando and I still have yet to make it to a TNA taping or see Scott Hall yet. RIP Percy, and too bad. They could have used him for Wrestlemania

Scott Hall is another one you don't want to see at the moment as that's also really said.

Paul Bearer was a fantastic guy though by everything I heard about him and he was obviously so heartbroken when his wife died a few years ago. No matter the cause of death that will be given for him, he's essentially died of a broken heart. Poor guy, I'm genuinely saddened by his passing.

They could have used him for Wrestlemania

Imagine him handcuffed to Heyman with Paul playing the chicken-shit heel desperately trying to get away from the macabre mortician.

Superfly Snuka is still around and his daughter is wrestling too. Konga The Barbarian has a niece wrestling for TNA. Like to see those 2 big Polynesian gals have a stiff match.

Which arrest?

Umaga, Rikishi's brother, is dead though.

Charges were not pressed against Snuka. Supposedly, McMahon paid off the cops to let Superfly off the hook since he was a major draw for the WWF back then. I think he did kill his girlfriend as Snuka has a history with domestic violence.

I heard that story too. Strange circumstances but I thought Jimmy was good for it also. Wasn't him and Don Muraco caught passing the piece pipe when they were supposed to be clashing in a bloody feud together? I think Hacksaw and Sheiky-baby got busted together by the cops only holding a roach. Guess they were calling the match while sparking up a joint.

Nah the big problem was Hacksaw and Sheik cause it broke Kayfabe as they were supposed to be feuding representing USA against Iran.

Snuka's arrests (as far as I can tell) were all on his lonesome. He got arrested for domestic violence, then arrested for murdering the same woman, then the only other big thing I can think of was him smuggling drugs into Kuwait.

I think the other story you're thinking of is Saito and Ken Patera throwing a rock through a McDonalds' window and them both ending up serving time for assaulting the arresting officers?

That's when Patera got locked up. Weird that Mr Saito got in trouble too because it seemed he wrestled for AWA or Japan almost right after unless I'm mistaken. Patera was the one guy I thought was so crazy his exit from this world would be Benoit-esque but he's still alive.
