Just looking back at 2012 and came up with some numbers for the year.

In 2012 we shot 2277 unique scenes.
Of these, 456 were full length hardcore scenes.
These were shot in US, Canada, Thailand, Philippines, Japan, UK, France, Columbia, Brazil.

In North America we shot 215 hardcore scenes and over 700 solo scenes with 341 different N.American models (183 of them featured on Shemale Yum).

So when you hear people say, "the industry is dying" - or "their is no money left in porn". Think about it. It's there and it's surviving well - but it does need your help!

So look at investing back into a membership on a good quality site, that shoots models exclusively as much of your membership dollar goes directly back into the model and the producers pocket. It's your investment for the future of TS porn and we're helping the US economy as well as other word wide economies :-)

We thank you.

Really? Apart from it clearly being a tongue in cheek quote, how do you figure that out and why are you on this forum promoting porn?

Porn, like anything in life, is double edged. It isn't inherently good or bad. It's HOW you use it and HOW you make it that determines that.

True that. Out of all the things that actually "damage" society, I think porn would have to sit pretty low on the list.

Porn is a cultural force that pushes the boundaries of freedom and self-expression. It functions as an outlet for all of the pent-up sexual energy built up by the deprivation the "moral" elements of society push upon people. Acting as a buffer, pornagraphy helps to differentiate between our animalistic drive and our refined human image. At the same time, it acts as a celebration of humanity itself.

Porn has evolved alongside art and technology, and shifted to fit the needs and push the boundaries of each new generation. It's existence in a way I think helps to push the sexual freedom and expression for all of society. We are the composers of wild fantasies, using technology to capture an essence of raw expression.

An article written in 2006 by Anthony D'Amato, a Professor of Law at Northwestern University, even goes as far as to show strong statistical correlation that the availability of porn is responsible for an 85% reduction in sexual violence over the past 25 years. Basically saying, that the availability of porn decreases the frequency or rape. Here's the article, if anyone wants to check it out:

All that being said, go Grooby! I'm glad to hear that business is booming, go support your friendly adult entertainers people! :)

Interesting stats.
If i was single, i figure i'd shot at least every three days on those figures.

Nicely put, Seanchai. At this point, I am reinvesting every dollar the UP Network earns back into our sites and products, and then some. I don't know if Suze Ormand would approve of porn as an investment, but I say put your money where your passion lies.

I haven't run the numbers for all our sites, but on Piladyboy we shot 40 models in close to 100 scenes, plus I've shot scenes for Wendy, Tempest, Victoria, Addy, and others.

Gives people jobs, generates interest...No matter how shit your life, you'll jack off on the previews!

You know i think you're a fuckhead but, serious question, how does that harm the economy?

Why would you join a porn site and then bitch about the harm that porn does to people? :bs:

porn is like a mcnugget or crack.

inherently there is nothing wrong with it as long as you don't abuse it.

you abuse crack, you lose all your money, get really emaciated and suck dick for a hit
you abuse mcnuggets, you get loose poop, diabetes and your heart explodes when you are 40
you abuse porn, you lose money, have a chaffed dick and probably can't relate to an actual sexual partner because of all the porn swimming around your head

porn, as with every vice in life, is good in moderation.
