I applaud the USA's defence of free speech at all costs, but I also find it amazing and chilling that someone like Ann Coulter commands both a public platform and an audience.

Coulter actually lives off of shock value IMHO she is politics version of Dennis Rodman. But she often finds a thread of truth runs right past what it really means and then wonderfully spins it into the red meat that right wing lives off of with those aging "Nixon Democrats".

Yes there is a lot more gun violence in the African-American community and most of it is black on black crime. But the deeper issues behind that certainly aren't ever going to addressed but Coulter. Things like built in poverty through sub-standard public education etc. Poor wages create lots of single parent homes and the % of the community that lives below the poverty line in 2013 is and should be an embarrassment to a nation as wealth as the US. Guns are moved into these urban areas by all the gapping holes in gun safety laws in states like NY and flow freely into cities like Philly where PA has very weak gun safety laws.

Instead her class of rabble rousers feed red meat to their base about injustice of Affirmative Action, even though it has created opportunities for people to achieve greatness. Since their policies for the most part only benefit the 1%, they must find straw men that feed the dark side of the working class soul.

The saddest part is that these right wingers are able to find the likes of Marco Rubio and Clarence Thomas who are more than happy to pull that ladder up as soon as they get to their person plateau of success.

I think all we need to get a few of these idiot talking heads at FOX to rethink their positions on gun safety is a bleeping wing nut to come into their studios with a bunch of assault rifles and bullet proof vest and then unload 30 round magazines all over the studio. The magazines of course would be loaded with blanks.

After the producers got all the tough guy talking heads to clean out their underwear I wonder if they still think that that the 2nd Amendment is non-negotiable? At any rate the mell in the room after the blanks were unloaded would just another day at FOX, but it would be the talking heads underwear instead of their redderick that was full of shit.
