The Hilda Brasil thread below inspired me to ask...why do so many brazilian girls go to italy.

is the earning potential there better than the us? other countries?
are italian men or italians in general more accepting of transwomen than other countries?
are the immigration laws a bit less restrictive?
do brazilian girls just like pasta?

is it any or all of these? just wondering.

Scratch any Brazilian you can always find a(real or fake) Italian ancestors.
And also bigger market for transwomen, homosexuality is less accepted in Italy,so if you want cock it's more acceptable to get it with long hair & fake boobs.

I know from personal encounters that these girls began arriving in the 1970s, not just in Italy but also in France, and I assume Spain -I did not go to Spain in those days. As timxx says some had Italian ancestry, but I think another reason is that in those days there were cheap places to live in Rome, Milan, Naples, and Genoa where I encountered working girls from Brazil on the street.

Networking created a conduit of new girls who were told by friends the money was good, etc; there was a documentary on this in 1993 called The Boys from Brazil, which I have linked below.

I think there was eventually a 'ring' which organised the transport of girls from Brazil, there is a thread on it somewhere on HA.

I think it is a case of liberal attitudes to immigration and the law, Italy has never been the best organised state, and once in Italy it was relatively easy to get into France even before the Schengen agreement -hence the girls in Marseille, Nice, and Paris of course.

Not sure when the first Brazilian girls arrived in Amsterdam; I don't recall seeing any on my first visit there in 1973 and I didn't return for many years after that so I can't be sure.

WTF????? US will have them arrested at the airport, assuming they can even get a visa. We live in one of the most uptight countries in the world when it comes for sex for fun.

1.Brazilians don't need a visa to visit Italy.

2.Italy does not go on crusades against consenting adults for engaging in sex in exchange of money.

3. Euro is worth 1.3 times the dollar.

4. I'll take Rome, Milan, Turin, etc. over NYC, LA, Miami anytime anywhere in terms of culture, history and quality of life. We do have bigger and more lethal arms though.

you echo valid points made above so my question has been answered...immigration laws, liberal attitudes, the "ring", etc....but

1...i can't take you seriously with that avatar

2...point 4...fuck you. as a life long new yorker, european cities can go fuck themselves in terms of culture and quality of lie. history, they win on...but i don't care about old buildings and tradition. as a person of non-european heritage, i don't care about that culture and in my field, europeans and asians pour into this country because of job and funding opportunities that will never be available in their home country therefore it isn't better there.

less tranny mafia as the rest of europe / UK ,

in Italy Brazilians ARE the mafia

there is a human traffic bond between Italy and Brazil , Brazilians in Italy pay the fee for young brazilian prositutes, then they throw em up on the street to suck cocks for money till they pay all the debts, many Brazilian girls been already in Jail for this

I am talking too much?

Never been to Italy; but my buddy went recently to see family and he said there were escorts all over. He said his cousin warned him that the most beautiful prostitutes were often Brazillian trannies. Sounds like a win-win to me.

i have never been to europe because i see no value in it. i'd never pay to go there. we spend our money on vacations where we are sitting on a beach drinking heavily which have largely occurred in most major countries of the western hemisphere (brazil the glaring exception).

i have been to china and japan for meetings. we were to go to greece last summer for the ISN conference but that fell through. eventually, we will go all over europe as work dictates...so i will see europe thankfully for free.

i understand why many people like europe but neither my wife nor i really care about old buildings, history, old world charm, etc. we are the type of people that went to the great wall and said..."oh, a wall." or the grand canyon and said "oh, a hole." we'd go see the sights in europe and not be impressed. every time we take a vacation, we talk ourselves out of europe because from all the stories and pictures of friends there, we know we'd be bored quickly. we just value different things out of a vacation.

Wow - yeah ok - if the Great Wall, The Grand Canyon or the Colliseum aren't going to impress you. If the beauty of walking along a Mediterranean town, of the Italian or French wine regions, of the majestic European cities with 1000 year old architecture, the beauty of the British countryside or sitting in an 800 yr old pub don't interest you - then please, please don't come to Europe.
I respect the fact that everyone has different ideas for downtime and vacation. I can't sit on a beach for more than an hour - and I'll do my drinking in different places.

yeah, we really aren't sight seeing type people. we are definitely beach/spa people and don't really get into much else besides jet skiing, parasailing, etc...stuff you do on a beach.

seriously...when we went to the wall, it was part of the tour and we were bored. when we went to the grand canyon, we drove from vegas, literally got out the car, looked at it for 10 min, had lunch and drove back. I kid you not...we were there for ~10 min.

My PI has no plans to go to european meetings in 2013, so unless my wife's PI changes his mind, europe might wait until 2014 again. It will happen...there are too many conferences there for us not to go to most of the major cities. when we are both independent, i'm sure we will go to every meeting possible anywhere and everywhere but for now, we still have to yield to our mentors.

that reply was NOT serious...its said tongue in cheek. i love this city and will never live anywhere else because it has everything i need and want. i can't say it is the greatest place ever because i've not lived in enough varied places to honestly say but i don't even want to be bothered to try.

I think there are many reasons that explains why Italy first, second spain third france are favourite countries between brazilian t-girls

1-dont need Visa
2-prostitution is not unlegal
3-its an easier language italian, spanish, french (Latin languages)to learn for the girls than english, deutch(most part of tgirls doesnt attended school)
4-Human traffic is everywhere i dont think thats a reason.

I could spent all day here telling many other reasons...

have travelled in Europe both in the Air Force and to vacation. It really is a good idea for American's to see other parts of the world there is a lot out there. But more importantly it reminded me why such a big chunk of the world wants to be here and reminds me to appreciate I was fortunate to be born in the best country in the world.
(Even if our laws are way too up tight about prostitution).

I like what the great Mark Twain said about traveling.

"Travel is fatal to prejudice, bigotry, and narrow-mindedness, and many of our people need it sorely on these accounts. Broad, wholesome, charitable views of men and things cannot be acquired by vegetating in one little corner of the earth all one's lifetime."

Go to Europe dumb ass...
