Today's also the birthday of Carmen Electra and Joey Lawrence. Woah!

Oh, and Layne Staley (Alice in Chains) died 4 years ago.

Layne Staley died on 4/20? Go figure...I loved that band.

I always knew about the "White Christmas" thing, as being a stamp collector I've seen all the German issues that laughing boy had printed up every year to celebrate his illustrious presence.

And they thought Kaiser Wilhelm was narcissitic. I've yet to find a stamp featuring his image.

On the Oklahoma City bombing, I remember getting out of the limo in Baltimore just as the news reports started coming over the radio. That was a very sobering day.

you guys like alice in chains?

if you like them, check out the creators of grunge- the melvins.
many people call them this because they were the first to produce sludgy riffs.
it's supposedly cobain's favorite band.
buzz (melvins lead singer and guitarist) took him to his first rock'n'roll show.
by the way, they are my favorite band.
check out either the album 'stoner witch' or 'houdini' first.
they aren't nearly as commercail as alice in chains or nirvana...
give them a go.

anyway, happy 4/20.
hopefully i'll be baked amongst you folks.

it used to be a big event in hartford ct....this now defunct redio station, radio 104 used to sponsor this big party at soe park....cops i guess used to turn a blind eye on that day and they would give out free dimebags and brownies all day and would have live reggae acts performing throught the day...

if you needed anything of theirs angela, i'd be more than happy to send it to you.
of course it would be online though, and you don't like listening to the comp's music.
