A week or so ago a big to do conversation erupted over whether or not TV performers should be included on TS websites.

I'd prefer not to open that debate/ can of worms, but I mention it to raise this issue...

If that is a controversial topic, then why are photoshop fakes not equally controversial?

Everyone really knows deep down inside that there is no such thing as TS. All girls in TS porn have their equipment Photoshopped onto them. The really hard part is faking it when you're actually with someone but thank goodness for advances in silicone!

Wendy- using lots of makeup and photoshopping out those tats, pimples, wrinkles, etc is just artistic license and shouldn't be controversial as everyone does it. Heck, they should be allowed to do computer generation also. It isn't the fake that matters, it is what is faked.

I'm not 100% sure what you mean by photoshop fakes in this sense, but all model photos are touched up in photoshop whether GG or TS so I guess people are either used to photoshop trickery or just never question it.

Just as passing note - a huge amount of the effects budget in mainstream films goes into digitally removing the stars' imperfections.

Nope I didn't mean touch -ups - I was referring to the clear manipulations where a GG has a fake cock copied and pasted onto her, usually poorly, which guys here tend to get all hot and bothered over.

I could answer that question, Wendy. It' just not something I would say in public.

I dislike those intently and on imageboards I'll point out that it's a Photoshop and shouldn't be reposted. Liz Vicious seems to turn up fairly often with a penis attached to her.

I wouldn't object to attaching my penis to her.

The fakes have been around from before you were born. In the early 80s there was a period of - the Boston Batwanger - Fiona Flaps - Long Dong Silver - the Texas Longhorn - and Chesty Organ.

These were mixed in with tgirls like Sulka and International Chrysis just to make it difficult to tell the real from the fake.

And then, just as quickly as they arrived, they all disappeared again.

Except for the real ones.

wendy...the answer is simple. you have to consider the intent...

the intent of a porn producer could be to excise every potential porn dollar so they will broadly apply TS or TG to anyone they think will sell memberships, or it could be to sharply apply the definition to a particular sub-niche.

the intent of someone photoshopping a cock onto a ggirl is much more simple...you want to challenge yourself technically as a photoshopper or you want to fantasize about a particular girl having a cock. that's all. photoshopped images are not as aggravating as TV or CD porn being linked with the porn of women further along in transition/surgeries, because men either like to laugh at the photoshop jobs for their technical inferiority OR they like to be able to spot them as a porn aficionado.

when its fake, its funny. when it is being passed off as "transgendered" and it doesn't meet someone's biased definition of what "transgendered" means, or what gets them off, some people will get rebuffed.

I think it's much simpler than that. They are usually hot, feminine girls - so they are still hot and feminine if they have a photoshopped nob. Where as a crossdresser probably won't float your boat if you're into women.

So the objection is more superficial. Also they're often celebrities or female porn stars in real life. Therefore they are not strictly being promoted and sold to us as transsexuals, but more of a fantasy thing...

I get that; but on a more pure philosophical level -- why is that acceptable but not say a very feminine looking CD on a TS website is not.

In both cases isn't it about the illusion and not the reality?

Yeah - you have a good point.

Essentially there is no difference, however (correct me if I'm wrong), those photoshopped women are mostly fan pics of someone already famous or well known.

Their purpose is not to convince us they are actually transsexuals, but just as a fantasy thing. An attractive crossdresser could well fulfill much of the same fantasy ground, but they are actively promoted to us as transsexuals (or at least potentially misinterpreted as a transsexual by the customer).

But as I said, you have a good point Wendy.

wendy....it is all about looks.

a beautiful fem cd will be more accepted as an "early transitioning girl" than an ugly one. there are many of these types of girls that are considered stars because they are aesthetically pleasing. that's all. photoshop images of ggirls with a cock are pleasing either aesthetically or for humor. cd or tv types are pleasing to some and not to others.

case in point...2 of the most popular models around today, bailey jay and domino presley, started out as cd types. they were considered attractive by enough people for them to launch a career in porn. a less attractive girl that may be far more advanced in her transition might not have a chance in porn. its the same with photoshopped images. you are taking a pretty image and adding something that is either funny or fantasy. i don't see anyone photoshopping cocks on images of girls from The Biggest Loser or on Snookie from the jersey shore.
