View Full Version : Pop shot difficulties...

Tonight I shot my my first solo scene. I loved the producer and her assistant. They both made me feel completely comfortable and taught me what I needed to know to make a decent scene. Once we got rolling things moved very quickly. Stills were fun and I really got into it. The first video scene with me toying myself is going to turn out to be really hot I think as I was completely getting off on the whole thing. The stills for the second scene flew by. Video for the second scene got rolling and all was going well until we got to the pop shot.

I had a hell of a time getting hard. It was next to impossible. Every time I would get it up, she would pickup the camera and my dick would go limp. There was one point were I had been trying forever and couldn't get it and actually I cried out of frustration. I put everything I had into this and it didn't seem like I was going to be able to finish. After nearly 2 hours and a ton of encouragement from the most patient producer on the planet, I was finally able to cum for the camera. I was so happy when it was finished I was literally jumping up and down. Talk about an emotional roller coaster.

As an escort, I have never had a problem getting hard. I am typically half hard when I walk through the door. I know it was the situation that caused me to have such a hard time but this can't be the way every scene goes. Does it get easier? Is there some trick I don't know about? I was having fun with everything and was really enjoying myself up to that point so why was it so fucking hard to cum for the camera?

I had a great time with everything but the finale. If given the opportunity, I would definitely do this again. I have a fantasy about shooting a hardcore bottom scene but I know I won't get that chance unless I can nail the solo scenes. I know there are a ton of models on this site who have done a shitload of solo scenes, so any input or advice you can offer would be greatly appreciated.

I dunno, maybe you should try Viagra or, god forbid (ouchie!), Caverject?

I was actually on Viagra. I don't normally have problems getting it up and have never had problems finishing even when on Viagra.

You can get a tolerance to it, maybe you need to up your dose. Or it could be that you were just nervous. I just started HRT three months ago (I don't see it, but my friends say I'm really getting there!), and it's harder for my click to get and stay hard, and I don't get yucky white stains all over my jeans any more. Female orgasms are wonderful though, I joke to my guy friends that they're really missing out compared to their gfs!

It does get easier with more shoots. I've also heard that you need to practice. I don't know what practice entails, however.

Of all the models I've shot, and there have been hundreds (mostly gg's), the ones who bring their significant other to the shoots with them perform the worst. I don't know if you brought your mate, but if you did, don't.

I've had four ts shoots where the mate was at the (solo) shoot and all four of those models failed to cum. Never had a model fail to cum otherwise. I have now permanently banned boyfriends and (especially) girlfriends from my shoots.

The fact that you were able to cum and the producer had patience was a win and nothing to worry about. Just practice (whatever that entails).

Could you elaborate on that? Don't mention any names or anything, but what do these photogs do that makes you not be able to relax around them.

Do tgirls use 'fluffers' for shoots???

to be honest i am not sure what they do ,, just i know i cant get fully relaxed i feel pensive and stressed with them abit shooting ... i have shot with a photographers that tuts alot if your taking time to get hard etc .... and that just winds me up to the point i could easily start fighting them .

probably the worst thing i hate is when a photographer stares at you while your trying to get hard .. so now my work around on shoots is simply i leave the set briefly to the bathroom. room with a mirror and just wank myself till i get hard . usually a few minutes ... for some reason so my cock reflection helps me get hard as i can visualise some depraved sexual act in my head easier ..

but when i am sat on a bed/chair trying to get hard and the photographer is just stood there looking at me it anoys me or un-nerves me .. much like i dont like it when they talk to much idle chit chat to me during the set ...

when i shoot TS models for sites ,, i just walk off and leave them alone until they shout for me to come back if they need to get hard etc ... i even do this with hardcore scenes so the models can have abit of time alone for 5min just getting comfy etc...

But i have never really felt relaxed infront of a camera anyway .. my mind is always worrying about my look, the camera angle, do i look like a boy etc ...does my ass look flat, do i look fat etc ... strange really as in real life i have none of these problems. on webcam i get hard very fast, escorting i get hard at will pretty much etc ...

As Libby said, it's something that comes with practice. It's like anything - the first time you're going to be nervous but the second time is much easier because you know what to expect and you'll be more relaxed.

with me i have one photographer that i can always get aroused aroiund easily , but i think that is simply as he was the first person to ever shoot me back in 2007 and we are business friends now ..

Now I want to work with you.

Let me know if you make it to San Francisco, cause I ain't going to the UK anytime soon. :)

My models always seem to be really relaxed and into it by the time I start shooting nude (although a couple of my latest models were a bit difficult). I usually spend an hour shooting non-nudes and making the model feel sexy and comfortable before all the clothes come off. Then I speed it up for the rest of the shoot.

Working in customer service for years helps me since I know how to talk to people that are frazzled. I'm also patient and easy going. That rubs off on the models as well, so I can see how photogs that "tuts alot" (what the hell does that actually mean? LOL) would get under your skin.

i will be in LA radious for Tranny Awards ... as i am shooting models myself there for some projects ...

SF yes i will be coming to as i have some shoots with Kink to do when i get round to it lol

Yes its just rude when togs tut/mutter/klick feet etc or just look pissed off waiting .. its like dude you are shooting TS women , we take hormones we all dont get rock hard instantly etc ..

But there are some great photogs i work with like Isa from SMC, Joanna Jet, Greg Brown...

The main thing i dont like is the pervy types .. which are quite common in porn lol

But sure i am sure we can sort something out :) you know i was a grooby photograpaher right for 2years :)

First of all, thank you for all of the responses. I found several of the comments to be incredibly useful. It is also comforting to know I am not the only one with this issue. I do believe the producer did everything she could to make me comfortable. They left the set while I tried to get hard and provided me with porn for a little imagery. I think I was comfortable with everything but yanking it in front of someone since its not something I do regularly. I bet the more I do it, the more comfortable I will be doing it. I also learned to bring my own porn next time with a scene or two I know I can get off too.

Pleasing myself has always been a private thing for me. If someone else is there I would rather play with them. Practice could help here. Maybe I could get my significant other to watch me play with myself. At least I could work on getting there with someone else in the room. Once I can handle that maybe I could have her film it so I could work on the performance aspect. I bet camming might help too.

I did find myself thinking about the details. I was worried about my appearance and the things I was taught like arching the back and pointing the toes and all that. As those things become more second nature, my mind will be freed up for some nasty, dirty thoughts.

Again, thank you for all the ideas. I do want to move forward in this industry and be known as a good model to work with. I have some improvements to make and now I have an idea of how to make those improvements. If anyone else would like to comment please feel free. A two hour cum shot means I definitely need all the help I can get.

Yeah - it's pretty typical. When I first started shooting with someone else behind the camera I was going through a bad hormone spiked -- that coupled with nerves fucked my shot up completely. Stress plays a big role. I also find concentration can be another issue.

For stills I have to actively think about good modeling - where's my body; what's it doing - that it's sometimes so technical I lose track of the mental stimulation. When that happens I typically turn to some erotica - and then I'm good to go.

As Libby said, "relax".

On the video side it's a whole hell of a lot easier for me. Almost all my solo sets are shot in one rolling take. I have my producers give me hands up marks at 5/10/15 minutes and when we hit the 15 minute mark I go for the pop. The dirty talk I do really helps to keep my head in the game.

As to the fluffer ask - funny story:

One of my Friends with Benefits tagged along to a weekend of shooting: 2 days - 3 sets each day. Typically we do a cumshot set, then a toy/ non-cum shoot/ then a final cumshot set. She had asked me at one point if there were fluffers and I told her, sadly no.

On day two, I did an unusual object insertion on the second set and scratched my ass up horrible (remember kids, sand down seems on your non-traditional plastic toys!). It left me really uncomfortable for the 3rd set and it was showing. Nothing was working with the set. While I'm trying to regain my erection, my friend walks over; flops on her knees in front of me and starts giving me a blowjob. I'm instantly hard. She looks up at me; bats her eyes and goes "I can add fluffer to my resume now, right?"

I am in the middle of some really nice breast development which makes me think hormones may have played a larger than usual role in my difficulty. I know stress was a factor. The only person putting any pressure on me to get it done was me.

Do you feel your experience as a web cam model has helped you here?

I did the soda through the nose thing on that one. I would have laughed so hard she would have had to fluff me up a second time.

Do you feel your experience as a web cam model has helped you here?

Not really - they tap into two different set of skills. On webcam, you're not only worrying about verbal & biological performance, you also have to worry what it looks like on the screen. It was challenging to adapt to not worrying about framing.

Similarly I had to learn how to telegraph to the Producer where I'm going next with the dirty talk. Nothing is more awkward than discussing tits while the camera is focused on cock. On webcam I'd just re position myself. Case in point, if I'm going to move to a sequence focusing on my breasts, I need to include some sort of transitional dialogue to signal to the producer they need to frame the shots to allow the focus to be on them by the time I start riffing on that. It's got to be subtle enough it doesn't scream DIRECTION on the scene but still needs to be clear enough the producer gets the message.

The biggest difference (and why the switch from webcam to porn is so difficult) is the timing of the cumshot. On webcam, you want to delay the cumshot for as long as possible. If you can solidly stroke for 30-45 minutes straight without cumming you're golden. But in a solo scene, they want you in and out. If you get too used to doing one it gets harder to do the other.

I wouldn't call it an issue cause you're giving it power and making it into something that way. It was your first time, you were nervous but you still got the job done which is a lot better than some people. I've been at gangbangs where some of the guys could not perform at all over the course of 4 hours, so you did better than most :)

Practice could help here. Maybe I could get my significant other to watch me play with myself. At least I could work on getting there with someone else in the room. Once I can handle that maybe I could have her film it so I could work on the performance aspect. I bet camming might help too.

Yep, get someone to watch and get camming as both will help. The more something feels natural to you the better.

As above, you got it done so you should be giving yourself a pat on the back instead of worrying about it. Personally my advice is to set up a Skype and do free shows or do Chatroulette/Omegle (one has banned nudity though and I can't remember which one) and just get used to people watching.

Most importantly though just enjoy it. You're doing something you want to and focus on that! If you've done a shoot that means you've done better than a lot of girls who never get that far. Just relax and enjoy yourself cause right now you're at the Grand Canyon and you're worrying about falling in instead of checking out the view ;)

Firstly I didn't realise she was transgendered until her penis appeared, I honestly thought she was a GG.

Secondly this is my exact thought on her:

All of your comments were wonderful and helpful but this one hit me like a ton of bricks. This is a fantasy for me and I need to take a second to really take it in and enjoy it. And you are completely right, I am worried about failing and that needs to end because I've already done something not all that many people get to do. Less pressure on myself and more fun.

You just have to find the right place in your head to go to get hard and to do the pop shot - there is no magic way to do it we are all individuals - I generally dont have any issues and often have the photographer just give me a two minute warning when they want the pop shot :) I guess my brain box is just wired for porn work LOL

i shot a girl a solo scene once , and we took about 8 hours over 2 days to try get a popshot out of her .. in the end i ended up getting her mate to hold the camera while the model stood behind me and wanked my cock off as we made it look like she was wanking off her own cock in a close up lol luckily we had similar shape/size dicks .. all i had to do was quickly shave my beaver off lol
