So many ladies here with amazing bodies. What do you all do to stay in shape? You go to the gym and train? Running? Yoga? Pilates? Water Aerobics? Dancing? Abundant amounts of sexual intercourse?

Also, do you ladies have an athletic background you'd be comfortable discussing?

Doughnuts and Tater Tots... in moderation.

I've played soccer since I could wear shoes and had a four year scholarship for it. When I lived in CA, I used to rock climb pretty extensively too, but moving up to rainy OR pretty much ended that. Now, the most exercise I get is walking my doggie :)

What kind of dog do you have, Krissy? I used to have Akitas and really miss them. Some lady on my way home walking from the gym has this incredible copper-colored Alaskan Malamute that I have fun wrestling with occasionally. Great big goofy dog with puppy eyes.

I live off black coffee. Occasionally a slice or two of bacon.

Jerk off multiple times daily on webcam to work out.

Cocks down my throat until i gag and blow back after every meal.

No carbs or dessert.

Well I'm a vegetarian and a REALLY light eater naturally. That plus + lower body workouts 3x a week and jogging keeps me fit. :]

She is a Aussie, Rottie, Spaniel mix... at least that is what the rescue told me. She definitely has Aussie and Rottie... not too sure about the Spaniel.

I should post some pictures. I've just been protecting her privacy.

Akitas are sooo cute :) I'm sorry they are no longer with you :(

I miss my dogs a bunch. If they had hands and fingers they could've completely cared for themselves.

I have a soft spot for animals. All of them. I feed a bunch in my backyard every morning. I fattened up the racoons and they're docile too. The only problem is with the birds and the never-ending battle between the crows and sparrows. I have squirrels that you mistake for cats when they run along the electrical wires.

Post pictures if you like.

Yeah sure. I'll bet you just let them eat out of the port-o-pottie you keep out in the backyard.

I get Nutro Max Cat Food(Chicken) from the store and I have several trees full of berries for the squirrels and birds. If anything, my poor, homeless, feral strays are too fat.

Sounds good to me. We have these incredible stadium stairs(4th/San Vicente) by the beach that you would love. Big, wooden stairs that flex a bit and gives you quite a workout. Your calves especially will be screaming first time out. Be hard to operate a clutch driving a stick-shift.

When you're getting tired and back down at the bottom the look up is not pleasant.

I'm about to start Rasberry Ketones(supposedly helps suppress appetite), Zumba Fitness Core, tons more water, bike riding, and I ordered a book called "A Week In The Zone", as well as I ordered a Toning Wheel. <<<<<<<About to START all of that, lol.

I've seen a few of the girls put down a TON of food...I've wondered the same thing.

And those stairs do look killer. There are spots like that in the Silver Lake and Echo Park areas that'll give you a great workout as well. One set of stairs near the lake are an actual street with houses and such. I can imagine living there...

How long after eating can a person workout?

Depends. I would wait longer to train if I ate bacon & eggs for breakfast than if I ate cereal. On heavy squat days I really let the food digest first as not to be rude to the other members at the gym. The horrid fumes go far beyond the bars of that rusty cage.

Its funny. I know girls who will devour a ridiculous amount of food but they are still in great shape. My girl is putting a few pounds on for lipo to her butt. After she wants to eat ridiculously healthy. I've actually lost about 15 pounds since I have been with her.

I do yoga, probably about 15 hours a week, no joke. But that's more for flexibility (I'm hoping to start performing as a contortionist within the next couple years) and general health, you can just look good with much less time. The key is doing multijoint stength exercises rather than targeted weightlifting, machines, or excessive cardio. This way you're ramping up your metabolism even when sedentary or sleeping. This is the basis of programs like Crossfit, which I'm considering getting into so I can be stronger for yoga. As for diet, I eat a ton (seriously 3,000+ calories a day), but view wheat, dairy, and sugar as indulgences to generally avoid. My blood tests have shown indetectable levels of free testosterone for a while, so I'm sure there's no way I'd have ab definition if I wasn't already living this lifestyle by choice. I think the important the thing is that you don't have to force yourself to do it or it won't last.

I believe in finding a happy medium that you will stick with over time that still gets results. I have always been a yo-yo letting myself go but knowing I can train hard to get back in shape. I am glad I found a way to live a normal life but still stay in shape.

Yeah, definitely. I also think people focus too much on weight and dieting. The first step is to find exercise you enjoy, then you'll naturally adjust your diet in order to be able to do it (try doing yoga when you've eaten ice cream the night before...). If you're active enough and in the right ways, you should reach your body's ideal weight. The problem is that this isn't super skinny for everyone, especially women.

I didn't diet so much this time around but cut down my portions or divided them in two eating the other half hours later. I either run for an hour or walk for two depending on how I feel. As far as exercise I actually enjoy, I like powerlifting.

I hear powerlifting is one of the best total body workouts. Kind of intimidating, but hopefully will give it a try soon. A lot because of these videos I saw on Youtube and became kind of aroused:)

Powerlifting is hard but, at least, not too complicated. I do it a lot for therapy as a good heavy workout like that makes me feel good mentally too.

The biggest thing I found that worked for me was simply portion control. When I controlled what I ate and when I ate it and how much is when I saw the best results and helps me keep my figure where I want it.
