I agree with you guys, the winning lady is really beautiful and 3 of the contestants in the top 10 this year are from the Philippines. Here are the names of the runners up and other winners: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Miss_International_Queen_2012. From the US Sunny Dee-Lite also placed in the top 10 and won best evening gown. (I think that most HA readers are from the US.)

Is "Kevin" (the name of the winner) a woman's name in the Philippines? Look at the names of all the contestants. Her name sounds male to English speakers. Curious. I wonder if it was her preference or a mistake in the listings.

This is the first of 4 talent spot videos, although as usual the talent spot is very weak consisting of bog standard disco jerking and karaoke; the winner from Japan was at least half-way original. Doesn't seem to be more yet but I expect it will emerge over the next 10 days.
