I just got out of the stone age and got a dvd burner.
I've got a few programs like Roxio, Nero, CloneDVD, SlySoft, DVDShrink.
Anyway, I started with CloneDVD because it seemed like the easiest to use.
It also was the only program I could figure out how to cut out certain chapters if I didn't want them. It allows you to see a list of chapters and remove them if I want.
Cloned my first disc with all the menus etc, it went okay.
Then I tried to save only one chapter to a file, so that in the future I could take chapters from different discs, put them in one file and then burn them all together onto one disc, kind of like a mixtape/cd but with dvd scenes.
Anyway, I managed to copy one chapter into a file and then burn it to a disc, but now DVD Clone seems to have saved the preferences I used to rip the one chapter.
Now when I try and edit a disc to remove chapters it won't let me.
I can only view the titles, not the chapters, it tells me how many chapters there are, but it won't let me view/edit them.
I'm totally frustrated here.
Does anyone know how to get DVD Clone to revert to the default settings every time I put in a disc? the damn thing saved the exact settings from the last dvd session I did, so now I can't view chapters to edit them, I can't edit the audio to save space and just use 2 channel stereo.
Their help page is useless on how to restore default settings.
Any help would be appreciated.

If all else failed, why not just dump the program and re-install fresh ?

I use CloneDVD2+AnyDVD,also use Alcohol120%,Roxio Easy Media.
