I'm sure there's some. Living in LA you're better off with your own car so I've always driven since 15. Roads are bad so I have a big obnoxious Chevy Truck.

I was without a car for a couple of weeks last year.
Having to wait around for buses sucked balls!

I'd be pretty much stuffed without a car.

You'd be incall only then. Stuffed in your own flat. Bummered at home.

I have never driven a car, never tried to drive a car, and never had the desire to drive a car. I once had a conversation with a man who was wittering away about something until I interrupted to ask him point blank: look, what exactly are you talking about? It turned out to be his new Porsche. Meant nothing to me then, and now.

I love driving. I love high speeds. There is nothing quite like the sound of a well built engine. Driving a car at 200 plus miles per hour is a feeling you will remember for the rest of your life. I would gladly pass up one night of sex with the woman of my choice for the chance to go 300 mph. I have never been over 208 mph.

I'm kinda stuck between a rock and a hard place. I live two miles off of a bus line that runs once an hour; even then it hardly ever arrives on time. I have a car, but it's out in the parking lot of my apartment because I still need to purchase a new set of tires, get a tuneup and alignment, then buy insurance and tags. I've mostly been working odd jobs lately because I keep getting fired from the couple of jobs I've had due to transportation issues. Namely, the bus getting me to work late or not being able to get me to work at all on the weekends.

I met young lad in Bahrain a few years ago who proclaimed that there was nothing better than driving very very fast. He out all his money into buying a really fast car.

I heard a few weeks later he had crashed and been killed.

I will never run out of money buying fast cars, they are to cheap and easy to build. If I could choose my own death it would be at a very high speed.

Whatever turns you on.... there is a poem called "let me die a young man's death" which hits the nail written by the Liverpool poet Roger McGough in his youth.

Let Me Die a Young Man's Death

Let me die a young man's death
not a clean and in between the sheets
holywater death
not a famous-last-words
peaceful out of breath death

When I'm 73
and in constant good tumour
may I be mown down at dawn
by a bright red sports car
on my way home
from an allnight party

Or when I'm 91
with silver hair
and sitting in a barber's chair
may rival gangsters
with hamfisted tommyguns burst in
and give me a short back and insides

Or when I'm 104
and banned from the Cavern
may my mistress
catching me in bed with her daughter
and fearing for her son
cut me up into little pieces
and throw away every piece but one

Let me die a youngman's death
not a free from sin tiptoe in
candle wax and waning death
not a curtains drawn by angels borne
'what a nice way to go' death

I can't afford to run a car and do my commute (10 miles each way) by bicycle.

Although I am not superstitious, I would have found the crow to be a bad omen myself!
But anyways, someone as lovely as yourself should always have a private chauffeur, lovely Dita. May I apply for the job?

I have been at the mercy of others to get about, and it sucked sooo bad, never again will i be without a car. I love to drive, drifting is my new hobby of late, if all goes well with the new job, I will be building yet another car. This time either a mustang or another Rx7.
