I'm obviously white, and I'm here to tell you that the presidential election at this point boils down to the black guy vs. the white guy. The sooner we accept that, the quicker we can respond accordingly.

Not quite. It's a white guy against a half black guy. Don't take my word for it. Ask Morgan Freeman.

if thats the case then most african amerian are 1/2 ,1/3 1/6 /1/8......... white

morgan freeman could not have said that cause he is dead RIP

Obama's true colors: Black, white ... or neither?
One book, "Black People and their Place in World History," by Dr. Leroy Vaughn, even claims that five past presidents — Thomas Jefferson, Andrew Jackson, Abraham Lincoln, Warren Harding and Calvin Coolidge — had black ancestors, which would make Obama the sixth of his kind.

Mix in a few centuries' worth of Central, South and Native Americans, plus Asians, and untold millions of today's U.S. citizens need a DNA test to decipher their true colors. The melting pot is working.

That'd be a good trick. Didn't Morgan Freeman die on Favebook?

besides: Mitt's daddy was a Mexican. That should put a kink into all this nonsense about who's what.

Put in American English, that's the dumbest point of view I have heard on this election.

It might be dumb but is certainly a factor though not the key determinant. Romney is clearly having a huge problem reaching african american voters for instance and many right wing Tea Party supporters are opposed to Obama on racist grounds. And, last time around, there was clearly a ground swell of support among the young for Obama on the basis that he would be the first Black president in US history.

Certain commentators have certainly seen the growing and very real reactionary impulse of the new GOP as being in some key ways shaped by a perception that the demographics are such that the US will no longer be a nation dominated by white men in a few decades as the Latino population grows. hence the dramatic upsurge in opposition to immigration.

I don't disagree with you Prospero, its the attempt to dilute something as complex as a Presidential election to one factor; that is dumb.
