Does anyone use them?
Do they give as much pleasure as reviews seem to suggest.
I've been looking at videos of them and they do look very appealing.
Can anyone recommend the best make / model out there.
I'd be using it most days "in action" though I'd probably fondle it a fair bit too.
Thanks guys.

I'm a fan of the full fleshlights... there's an HD video of my first use of one in my iFriends fan club (http://myif.cc/29M)

I hated the Flight (the mini-version) - I used it for a shoot and though it was shit. My review of that is on my blog (http://www.wendysummers.net/wendy-summers-blog/141-product-review-flight-travel-fleshlight.html).

Are they usually supplied with batteries?

Educate me: does these things vibrate, or is it just flesh like rubber in a tube?

So far as I know there's no electrical versions...

It's a squishy polymer inside a plastic tube. There's a cap on the back you loosen and tighten to change the suction level in the unit.

The one I'm looking at the most has a tactile rubbery finish.
This gives a better grip and makes it more user-friendly.

The suction feature sounds interesting; I've not heard of that before.
One model does incorporate a magnet for temporary attachment to metal surfaces,
though that is obviously quite limited and the suction thing sounds a much better idea.
The one I'm looking at has a flat cap. This is interchangeable
with the the cap which incorporates an integrated switch.
The specs and reviews say they are waterproof too. Which would be useful
from both a "practical use" basis and for cleaning.

Maglight.
The only choice, all aluminum construction, variety of sizes, easy to clean. Can be used for self defense.

I've heard Maglights described as the first self defence tool to incorporate a light!
And you still cannot beat a Maglite '3 or more D' flashlight for the 'ol aluminium shampoo. :dancing:

I've got a Maglight D2 at home
and a Maglight D4 for the car.
They are for lighting, obviously, but also for self defence.
I'm also using a Maglight Solitaire on my house keyring
and a Mini Maglight in the car glove-box.
It's this last one I need a replacement for.
These Flashlights (as per thread title) are all 10-15 years old and therefore use old lighting technology.

I understand that in the last 4 years there has been a lighting revolution.
While the old Maglights are ok
I specifically want a much more powerful replacement for the Mini
as I use it on outcalls to clients houses at night. I need good beam penetration
so I can find the house number
plus a peripheral light for surroundings just in case someone is doing a set-up with the intention of attacking me.
(Two thugs once tried that on a set-up but I got lucky and got away before they got to me)

I clicked on a Nutnfancy video review of these guys http://foursevens.com/ and their Preon 2. (http://www.foursevens.com/product_info.php?products_id=3187)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6YvBLRJX0jk

On the high level setting this puts out 160 lumen's (+20% more on the new Gen II model).
The medium setting is 22 lumen's which in videos looks pretty impressive too.
Here are the brightness Levels:
Low: 2.2 lumens, 23 hrs
Medium: 22 lumens, 6 hrs
High: 160 lumens, 0.8 hrs
It's light and compact, about the size of a biro pen, that's a consideration
when you add up all the kit in your |Escorting outcall bag.
The Preon 2 takes two AAA batteries which is good as you can get them at any store or garage. Lithium batteries are the ones to go for over alkaline as they provide more power and this results in a brighter light which lasts longer. Though at a price. They also have a longer shelf-life.
The cover is a matt anodised finish which has a rubbery grippy feel.
Oh, all the components are replaceable too.
The unit is waterproof as well; so good for outdoor use.

This is a massively in-depth review: http://www.candlepowerforums.com/vb/showthread.php?258156-4Sevens-Preon-Review-%281xAAA-amp-2xAAA%29-RUNTIMES-BEAMSHOTS-and-more!
I'm pretty sure I'm gonna get one.

Well the TVs in the first picture come from the 1950s. less of a scene then.
