oh Beirut....it's one of my favorite places in the middle east.
However, escorting is not yet tolerated well.

I went there last year, planned to work but soon i realized it's still dangerous.
Police raids LGBT bars at all time, which are the only place for gays, lesbians and transgenders to hang out and gather together.

I was about to enter one of the famous bars, actually, the only famous bar, named MILK at the time when the raid occurred. I'm not surprised if the place has been shut down by now.

(Though, it's called a gay bar, the patrons are actually a well mixed of gays, lesbians, bi men (tons of them!), trans, and cross dressers)
