My first car was a 1978 Pontiac Grand Prix with a 300hp 327 cubic inch engine with a 350 turbo transmission. I bought the car in 94 for $1200 from my own hard earned money. It had a blue paint job dual exuast, White lettered GoodYear radials on a set of American racing wheels, coustom headers, Holly 4 barrel carb, and 87,000 on the odomoter. It got a grand total of 5mi to a gallon of gas! I have so many fond memories, it was my pride and joy I was once clocked going 127 down Ohio state route 33! Had my first cheerleader in the back seat, and hauled many a keg of beer in the trunk to football after parties.
Btw the photo is not my car, but the only photo i could find that looked close to mine.
What was your first car? Do you have any good memories of your first ride?

Classic 1970s Horror. They made 4 and thinking about a 5th. Tall Man is an underrated baddie.

Beautiful car Dino.

Mine was a 1970 Camaro SS that I bought in 1981 for $2000 from a friend. I remember that that was all the money I had. I couldn't afford to hang onto it and sold it about two years later. I wonder how much it is worth now. ?

1971 Ford Pinto. bought it brand new for $2700 on Northern Blvd in Flushing.
they said it would blow up if rear-ended. I was fortunate enough not to experience that. it shook a lot at high speed ( 40 mph), but I loved it
