Kicked Out

After a year and a half of great input on my part, I've been banned from the forums on VickiRichter.com.

Why? I'm not sure. I frequently made a jerk of myself by attacking people who seemed to be jack-asses, but I always wrote the truth, as far as I could see it.

I really like her. But like every pretty girl, she's crazy. And I'm crazy for chasing her so hard for so long.

Why am I even posting this thread? Who knows. . . ?

At least I tried.

Its her forum and she wants you to play nice with the other kids, thats all. Hell, if I was always honest and told the truth I would have been put in a mental institution a while ago. Go see a therapist and/or join a twelve-step program if you want to tell the truth. I'm not judging you, i'm speaking from personal experience.

I try to follow two basic rules when posting to forums (Though I may fail on occasion):

Rule 1: Don't piss on the cat.

Rule 2: If the cat moves, don't piss on the carpet.

So far, these rules have served me well.

I didn't kick him, my moderator kicked him, and I support my moderator. If it had just been one thing, and I had never had complaints about him insulting others or what not, it would have been questionable, but he routinely was insulting people and making them want to leave. I try to maintain a positive forum where people aren't worried about getting attacked.

Even the best of us (And no, Virginia, that wouldn't be me) can get torqued to the point of snapping. I know that I've done more than my share of drunken rants right here on HA. Fortunately, I have managed to rant with the flow, as it were. I also believe that I have the good fortune to know when to duck and run, rather than tilt at windmills, so damage control is little more than a "Gezz, I'm sorry" and time to let the storm blow out to sea.

Folx get pretty hot on a number of subjects in these forums and all it takes is one hard-headed individual to keep poking his/her/their head into the hornet's nest before someone gets kicked to the curb.

I too believe Honda to be an OK guy, and I've found that we share some interests and knowledge that's fun to banter about. However, I'm not attuned to the forum or cicumstances for which he got the boot.

Thank's for the nice posts, everyone. As I've said before, Vicki has always been extrodinarily nice and patient with me (you should see some of the mad ranting emails I've sent her on rare occasions). I think I have been a very positive factor on her Yahoo site and her forum for quite some time, but it's just time for me to not be posting on those sites anymore.

There are things going on behind the scenes right now, amazingly not connected to porn or anything at all, that I need to stay focused on.

I got way, way too over protective regarding Vicki and her sites. Getting banned was a good thing in a way. I'm going to miss the forum, but it should be about Vicki, obviously, not some loon yelling at his fellow members and causing a commotion every couple of days.

I gotta say Honda I don't think you're a terrible person though it did seem you went on some personal attack sprees on Vicki's board. You've handled it better than some people I know who've been banned from forums. (No that's not an attack an anyone banned from anywhere just an pbservation) I get rowdy and obnoxious when I drink too much, but I only drink on special occasions (Christmas, Chanuka, Kwanza, New Years, Thanksgiving, Fourth of July, Arbor Day, etc. oh and any day that only comes around once a year + Leap years cause that is special). Many people here seem to enjoy your posts and you seem to have a good grasp on things. I wish you the best.

Who is this "NotAPhoney" guy? Good grief, I've got work to do, not deal with this crap (but, it is kinda fun I guess, on occasion).

I hope you enjoy Vicki's forum, it's a great place and she is a sweet girl. I do drink quite frequently, and I can be a complete ass on occasion. But I always apologize when it is appropriate.

Vicki is obviously not my girlfriend, although I do get possesive and looney sometimes.

But I've got a better shot at being with her someday then you do.

Thanks, NYCe, since I'll assume he was ranting at me in this thread. Don't know of any back story myself, don't recall ever seeing the guy around before.
