I will never subscribe to a Grooby site again.

When I signed up for Black T-girls, I was somehow subscribed to Shemales from Hell, as well.

I find that practice less than honest so I tried to cancel both subscriptions.

I received a letter from Grooby's customer service dept. stating that I was now unsubscribed from Shemales from Hell, and then it was my option to cancel.

I did.

Today, on my online banking statement, I was charged for both, even though I cancelled one, and they supposedly cancelled the other.

Now I have to endure BANKING HELL.

I've always admired Grooby's content. But their billing leaves a lot to be desired.

Another case of, be very careful who gets your credit card numbers.

just send an email to customer service at admin@grooby.com and it will all get resolved. there is no fraud going on.

I can appreciate why you'd be upset and as soon as I received the email a few mins ago, I looked into it (a faster response would have been received if you'd followed the customer service link at the bottom of the page).

Ok - you joined Black Tgirls and took the option for the special offer on Shemales From Hell at the same time - on Aug 02.

You cancelled on Aug 03.

You contacted our customer service about the Shemales From Hell charge today as you didn't want that site and we refunded it first thing this morning. Just because you've cancelled a website, it doesn't mean that you'd be automatically refunded it.

Your bank shows both the charge for Black Tgirls and Shemales From Hell - this is because you were charged for both BEFORE you contacted us. If it was refunded today, then I'd expect the refund to show for the Shemales From Hell charge sometime this week on your bank statement.

So in summary:
- You have only paid for Black Tgirls.
- You were refunded first thing this morning when you contacted our customer service and they responded that they'd cancelled your membership and refunded you that charge.
- Your refund will show on your bank statement.
- There was no fraud whatsoever (and you need to be careful when making false accusations in public).
- Our billing and our customer service is excellent. We sorted out your issue within hours of being contacted and refunded you at that time. This is why we deal with all our own customer service in-house.

I hope this answered all your questions and you continue to enjoy Black-Tgirls for the remainder of the month you have left.

I was with Ladyboy-Ladyboy when there was only one page of models, and have never had one problem with Seanchai and Grooby. You just needed to give it a little time to get sorted.

Not into ass kissing but Grooby are one of the better sites,I subscribed to a Grooby site l didn't like(my fault) they switched me to another one.Just show some patience.

My apologies to the good folks at Grooby. I over reacted to this, based on previous billing issues with other sites.

Grooby isn't into billing fraud. They are honest.

And their content, as we know, is quite good.

Seanchai, I think the problem started because when you sign up for a Grooby website you are offered another at a discounted price. This offer is near the bottom of the sign up page and is always checked. Unless you are very careful this can happen very easily. I think at the very least this offer should not be checked as the default. I would imagine that a number of people who are not as careful as the OP may have been charged w/o even knowing it.

Grooby has one of the best customer service in the TS business. Don't start calling them out before giving them time to respond.

Always check for Pre-Checked Cross-Sells, lol. Thebestporn review site will give you a heads up about it prior to purchase or double read before you click the purchase link.

All's well that ends well as they say. I have no doubt Grooby is a stand up company when it comes to shit like this. But has been stated earlier, I'm not a fan of unchecking the box either. I got burned once ( not by Grooby) and the fuckers never refunded my money...now I'm wiser. I just think it should be an affirmative action you have to take if you want the bonas site....Other than that.......no issues with Grooby.

This is what I call "manning up" No bullshit, just an apology. We all over react sometimes and let our demons get the better of us. Good example of how to be human.

i am a member of various grooby sites. i never had a problem. the staff at grooby respond to problems in a timely manner.

This isn't really the place for a debate on pre-checked cross-sales which are being used across many different industries, not just the adult one (and not just the internet). Our X-sales differ to a lot of others in that:

a) we do put it into a big yellow box - right above where you have to click to confirm (so it's not at the bottom of the page or any attempt to hide it like some sites).

b) the offer is genuine. You get access to that x-sale site at a very good discount and that price is locked in. Be more careful of "free offers" or "$1 trials" which often jump up very fast.

c) everyone gets a receipt emailed to them straight after the purchase showing what they've bought.

d) anyone with a complaint and who hasn't EXCESSIVELY used the site, gets a no quibbles refund.

We've been working this way for over two years and had very few issues as we've tried to tailor the X-sales to sites which would appear to be attractive to that buyer. We've done the research on it, we've looked at the amount of use that members are doing on the x-sales and it's as high as the original site they were purchasing. Savvy surfers, look for the site with the X-sale that they want, join that site and then cancel the first site, allowing them to continue to get the site they really wanted, ongoing at a good discount.
