How do you feel being the accomplice of a cheater?
Do you feel that the person is going to cheat with another anyway, if not with you?
Does it excite you more because the person is attached?
Aren't you afraid of karma?
For the devout, isn't it a sin to covet?

Ditto. Enough motivation to never do it to someone else, or to help anyone.

Having experience being cheated sucks badly. You lose trust in people for a long time.

Most devotes cherishes some sins somewhere in their secret garden. And usually feverishly entertain them secretly.
As to the rest of us, if we can’t respect the understanding we have with the person we’re the closest to, how can we expect to be respected and trusted by anyone else, and before anyone, how can we even trust ourselves subsequently?

I'm no saint by any stretch of the imagination but I have never cheated on a girl. I think it is a bitch move to cheat on someone. If you have the balls to be in a relationship then you should have the balls to get out of it if you find your interests straying. It only take a few seconds to say "we're over" then you can go fuck whoever you want, but stringing someone along while you have sew with other people is a seriously pussified thing to do.

i agree... verbatim. if you even think you're going to cheat, GTFO before you do.

You know guys, I agree with you both, but Jericho has a point too. Many times we try our best to act properly but it’s as if our body spoke for our mind. Like we often say, we think with the small one rather than the big… And as I was referring to in my previous post, the people who pretends the most to be righteous (and I’m of course not talking about you guys, who are on this site like me) are often the worst, the most hypocritical and twisted, especially the religious zealots.
What I do know, is that I have a girlfriend who loves me, who’s not only my mistress but also my best friend, my pal, my life companion, my buddy when things gets ugly, etc. etc. etc. And not anymore than I would stab such a close friend in the back would I be untrue to her, or would I want to risk hurting her.
To me I guess it’s more a matter of the situation than a rigid principle. I don’t know if that makes sense…
Quiet Reflections you make a great point in saying implicitly: if you’re tempted, just get out, don’t wait until you hurt the one you're with. That’s not faithfulness out of principle neither; it’s just plain honesty.

Hmmm..I wonder what some of you people's longest relationship has been...don't get me wrong, I'm not saying cheating is right by any stretch of the imagination, but I've been around longer than some of you... and have experienced...(and have peers who've experienced) very long relationships (sometimes 20 + years)..and some people will cheat rather than break up something that long...especially if that is the only option.

...not to mention , people have different values as to what cheating means.

My escorting ads specifically state that I won't take married men as clients. If I'm lied to by a client then at least the onus is squarely on them. I've had a wife call me about her husband and I encouraged a divorce. Whoring my body in no way means that I'm obligated to whore my ethics.

Too many fish in the sea and many are single. Why prey upon people that are already attached or be any party to betrayal? No kink or fun in that to me.
