View Full Version : A Maggot On My Pinkie Toe

Was sitting down(on the toilet/you got me) and noticed a maggot laying on my pinkie toe. My first reaction was to smash it with my thumb. I decided to step back(not literally) thinking an open minded approach might be best. Seemed like it was trying to communicate something. I concluded my transaction then carefully got up. Leaned over to pick it up but I accidentally scruffed it which garnered me a fairly sour look from the little critter. I was gonna place it outside but, by that time, a bond was starting to be formed. Instead I placed it on the best pillow on top of the best chair in the house. Its throne. Now I am nothing but its lowly knight. A sheep kept by a maggot. Wouldn't have it any other way.

There is something beautiful about that.
Poetic even.

Maggots on anyone can only mean one thing:
You're dead or close to it.
Wait, You're a zombie, man!
We'll keep an eye on you and when you finally turn, dont' take it personally, We'll have to kill you.

I know you'd do the same for me.
It's been fun knowing you, Dino.
You seem like an old friend to me.

Saw a story a few years back about an Orange Tabby Cat who lived in an old people's home. When he sat at the foot of their bed they soon were dead. That's what everybody said.

Good Kitty.

You'd have less maggots with less bodies in the crawlspace... #justsayin
