King of Kings? Every time I eat lamb my poo smells of sulfur. God Of Darkness must be The Father.

Thinking out loud muttering things under my breath again...

I think the King just divided up his realm and gave his sons conditional dominion of the pieces. The King remains the king. The sons are princes of the realm and lords over their allotted dominions. The prince of darkness is a misnomer, he's the son of the King but the lord over darkness. The real question is, if this is right who is the mother of lord of darkness? Is she hot? Was she a great lay? Why did her son get such a shitty deal?

I dunno... I think I met him once, but there wasn't enough light to see who he was.

Food for thought.

Basically God kicks a child to the garage apartment telling him to keep his mouth shut and his powder dry until the day they all pull the cape over us after they liberated our assets and enslaved our minds. In the meantime he delegates mischievous jurisdiction to his male offspring.

Just because someone lords over something doesn't make him The Lord. I'm a landlord. Am I The Lord Of My Terrain?

As far as who The Preying Mantis Over The Dark Dominion is I'll have to take another hit and get back to 'ya. Maybe Gloria Allred.

It's this guy named Steve. I met him one in Chattanooga. He was driving a 93 Mustang.

You know, as a parent you always eventually think for a moment: “My god! I gave birth to the Antichrist!” which would of course make the devil out of you… But you soon realize that every parent feel the same way at some point. To me, there’s no doubt “The Exorcist” is only the depiction of a really bad, maybe the worst case of a relationship between a teenager and her mom.
But on the other hand, I must say the whole dark family has to be my in-laws… all of them: king, prince and especially mother… Trust me; you don’t want to meet them.

The Exorcist is magical. Love the way the old priest got lured in for purposes of revenge and is put away then the Dark Force upgrades from a teenage girl to an adult male priest. Priest commits suicide(supposedly) condemning his own soul to Hell. I always love a happy ending.

Exorcist 3 showed Father Karras still alive and still possessed now being forced to carry out the second act of a dead serial killer's masterpiece.

One time on Alt.com I said I was a hot young Dominatrix and before I would train my applicants they would have to send me a picture of their Mother, no fakes, I was gonna check them later. Some guys sent me the photo. Being the Devil is EASY.

Turns out I was right. I mean just look at that jacket and that haircut.

I too enjoyed the first and the third. For the first one, I was a young teen: everybody was going nuts about the film. There was talk of people dying in the movie theatres, etc. There was some kind of a vogue of demonic possessions… Crazy!
The second one was ridiculous, with that gizmo they were one after an other wrapping around their heads, with Richard Burton and that little girl who wasn't little at all anymore.
But yes, the third one was great, with George C. Scott. What did you think of the fourth one? the prequel. I felt it was a bit arduous, not too convincing…

I try to get the second one and the two prequels outta my mind. George C Scott growling his lines sure was great. Watch him in Hardcore with Exorcist 3 for a very enjoyable double feature. The Changeling is really good too.

Great trailers, especially the first one.

Didn’t see “Hardcore”; I’ll check it out. But I remember liking a lot “The Changeling”. Very well built story with a slow progression that almost made you with the main character the subject of those discoveries. Good movie. And Scott is almost always good…

Ok, I know I'm in a tiny minority here but ... I love Exorcist II !!!
It goes without saying that I love the first one. Duh, who doesn't.
Exorcist III has the great scene with the night nurse, and even the Exorcism scene tagged at the end because the producers demanded it doesn't ruin it for me. Love Geroge C.
But anyway, I don't see Exorcist II as a sequel. It feels like someone's LSD trip after seeing The Exorcist. It's campy and psychedelic. Cimon! Richard Burton, Paul Henried, James Earl Jones, and Ned Beatty?! And it's full of great lines too, like when Richard Burton is in a plane with Ned Beatty and says "I've flown this way before." Ned: "When was that?" Richard: "It was on the wings of a demon." I also think the prequel segment with Max Von Sydow is more convincing than the rubbish dished out in Dominion etc. My two cents.
PS. I have a VHS copy of Excorcist II signed by Linda Blair.

Never seen it that way, but why not! You mean to say it’s good in a funny way? I love watching movies with that attitude; never tried with that one…

You've convinced me to watch Exorcist II again. Throw back a handful of tabs and press play. Groooooooovy...
