Ah...those cheesy ABC made for TV horror movies from the 70s. I remember some of those. Ever see Kingdom of the Spiders with Shatner? I also remember one called The Screaming Woman about a woman who hears voices in a cemetery, with Lee Majors as the villain. And I remember one about a hotel that gets invaded by killer ants.

What about Devil Dog Hound of Hell? That was a good one. Creeped me out as a kid.

ABC used to have a buncha Made For TV Horror in the 70s. Liked The Legend Of Hell House and Let's Scare Jessica To Death. CBS had The Devil's Rain. Many, many other good ones too.

"Killdozer" was originally a pretty good short story by Theodore Sturgeon, a classic SF author. How it got turned into a cheezey movie, I'll never know.

Theodore Sturgeon also wrote the screenplays for a couple of ST:TOS episodes, "Shore Leave" and "Amok Time". (The latter is the one where Spock goes into his every-seven-year rut.)

Also, there was a band around 1990-ish by that name that did a really good cover of "Take the Money and Run" by Steve Miller Band: Killdozer - take the money and run (mp3) - YouTube (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YiUEjG3ddPA)

Can't believe I forgot to mention: Theodore Sturgeon penned the oft-quoted Sturgeon's Law: "Ninety percent of everything is crud." (Often misquoted as "..is crap." I guess Sturgeon was speaking in an age when a respected author's public words were expected to be a bit more genteel.)
