Fine. You have a point. It's not Kim personally, but so many so-called transgender advocates want to extend certain protections reserved for transsexual people to TV's, and many of those want society to believe there is no difference between the two, and most of those people are transvestites.

This has nothing to do with 'an alternative lifestyle.' It has to do with a lifestyle that makes a mockery of my experiences and indeed those of all transwoman. I hope that someday you're forced to have to tolerate somebody who makes you look ridiculous to the rest of society as you fight for their acceptance, then maybe you'll understand the difference between a TV and a TS, aside from the fact that after 7 years in transition, I have still yet to see anything positive come from the former group. Taking a woman's name to market a perversion for financial gain is misrepresentation. I don't 'party' with TV's. I have a few friends who are CDs, all of whom are respectful of the differences between us, and some of whom who I feel actually have a female spirit and identity, but missed the boat physically. Don't confuse my understanding of those who wish they had transitioned while it was still feasible with approval of those who wear women's clothes as a sexual fetish. I have always avoided the latter like the plaque and will continue to fight against their inclusion under the so-called trans umbrella.

Excuse me, but most transsexuals do porn because they've relinquished their male privilege and are suffering the economic consequences, which is something TV's don't have to do, or even understand, and clearly they don't. Furthermore, I happen to be one of the transsexuals in question, but more importantly, my background is actually in nightclub promotion and political activism. Just take a look at my Facebook. I hardly EVER talk about porn. It's just a job, and since I feel that way, most people respect my views, and should considering my experience and education.

I may be a 'porn star' by definition, but I'm not by lifestyle, and the same goes for a lot of other girls. Not to mention the fact that I've pretty much been blacklisted by the industry anyway. That said, I guess I have nothing to offer then, huh? I guess I should just shut up, right?
