They called me and they are doing a show called "the 41 year old virgin" he hires an escort and the escort (me) ends up being TS.

I decided for the sheer reason of "what the hell" to go ahead and go on television.

I am just in a personal decision of whether or not I want to be reserved and classy or just a crazy bitch and come on there to act a damn fool like everyone else does. The latter seems more fun, while the former would present a better and more realisitic image of myself... But who comes on Jerry springer to act reserved and classy?

Anyway I don't know exactly when it will be showing, but I will let you all know when I will be on nation TV acting a fool (or just sitting nicely).

I have however made a personal vow to myself not to come on there wearing 1. Black or Brown lip liner (gag) 2. Plastic heels 3. A hair weave 4. A sequined dress

I say be classy as you can, and let the other guests make asses of themselves.

I think I am going to dress and act nicely to give a nice portrayal of a TS. I dress, and act nicely anyway...

I always hate watching TS girls looking and acting disgusting.

In the times I have actually watched television (I don't watch it because I LOATHE American TV) and I have tuned into daytime tv with trannies on, I was disgusted with what I saw.

But anyway I think that's my decision and I am going to stick with it.

Ciao!

You serious Jen? They don't let you choose?

Gianna, I reckon you should chat with some other girls who've been on and see what they have to say. I have this nightmare vision that they'd dress you up as a drag queen and make you look a real freak. It might be fun for five minutes but it'll leave a lasting image. I wouldn't like to see you ridiculed on national TV. In fact international TV, we get Jerry over here too.

Jerry Springer appeals to the lowest element of white trash USA. Please don't make a mockery of our HA community. Appearing on this show just feeds the freak appeal that his audience craves towards gays and transgendered

are you that hard up for attention?

I made sure I got to pick what I got to wear and what I will say. I get to talk about how I felt growing up, and such. I am going to make a good impression (I hope!)

A mockery of your community? I am not going to talk about Hung Angels on the show first of all.. and SECONDLY if you take an internet message board that serious, then I think you should consider what is and isn't a mockery.

I am going on because they are going to allow me to explain my story growing up as a TS, I am not going to act like trash, and they do not want me to.

Even if it is for the white trash of the USA maybe a few people will hear my story and have a better understanding of a transgender person who will not be dressed as a freak or acting like trash.

I am going to be on there dressed perfectly normal acting like a human being. Further more I think it will be fun to be on TV, as I have never been on before and I don't see a reason why I should be considered hard up for attention when iven the offer to go on national TV to be able to explain my childhood as a transgendered individual.

You and your comment is extremely rude. I am 19 years old and having fun with my life and I actually want to use my TV oppurtunity to send a positive message. I am sorry I took my chance to be able to travel and see Chicago and make a positive statement on air about being transgendered, and that in doing so it is somehow bothersome or offensive to you... However, you and your hard up attitude about the internet message board mockery should take a nerve pill and relax.

If you succeed in making a good impression on Jerry Springer, you will be the first person person to do so in the fifteen years that the show has aired.

I simply REFUSE to go on there and act like trash or make a bad impression. Yes there is going to be the fiction story attached, however... I told them specifically I will not go on there and act like trash, act like a freak, dress raunchy, or make a bad impression of myself or the community. So I will be a record breaker, Quinn ;-)

Going on Jerry Springer is never good public relations. Even though you may be an angel they would create a circus atmosphere with special sound effects and Springer's loaded questions. "Go to Oprah" is the common cry, and in fact that is the best way to go for good PR. Anyway, it is your decision. Enjoy~

Just wondering how many of the posters who are criticizing PrincessaGianna have a lot of experience being on national television... Please, all of you, raise your hands!

Yeah, I see Allanah with her hand in the air. She's been on Maury and many others. She does a great job, too... I see one or two others... But... I don't see any of PrincessaGianna's critics putting their hands up in the air...

Whatever the forum, wherever the opportunity... Anyone brave enough to go on TV and attempt to explain what they do and why whould be supported. Yes, Jerry Springer is silly but on the other hand, the audience seems to support TGs and TVs once in a while. At least this is one more brick in the wall to keep the experience in the public eye.

Even if PrincessaGianna bombs or screws up? It's a valuable experience. It's something that she will learn from and grow from. It's not something the rest of you should sit back and criticize, since I don't think any of you are doing anything to advance anything.

GO FOR IT!

Hey Gianna it seems like you stirred something up here doesn't it. I reckon most people are fully behind you in this. The others maybe just suggesting a little caution.

As for your big bulbousness being on display, surely if it were it would be blurred out so that answers that.

Just wondering if you've put any thought into an outfit yet. Seen anything nice?

You make it sound like being on national television is a big deal. Trust me, it isn’t. My father was a Director of Photography and then a Director who did commercials, videos, and the like. I've been on national television a few times – including two commercials that ran nationally for years. So what!! Being on national television doesn't mean anything.

I decided to go on the show. I wore a lovely black jersey/Marilyn Monroe style dress with lovely cleavage. My hair was nicely curled with very natural makeup, done by the lovely transsexual makeup artist Chevette!

Everything was simple and lovely.

The (fictional) story goes that a 31 year old virgin saved his money to lose it. I played the part of a post-op upscale escort. He ends up falling in love with the post-op Gianna but he is a big fat and ugly dorky guy who looks like a walrus. He is also a dungeons and dragons player, he works as a pizza delivery guy, likes star trek etc. He The man falls in love with me and sends me flowers, e-mails, calls me non stop, and even sent me a heart shaped pizza! what he did not know was that I was a TS, so I come on the show to break it to him that I am TS and that I don't want to be with him.

It was really fun and the audience was totally flabbergasted at the fact that I was a TS... Half the men in the audience were whistling and shouting when I came out!

They gave the guy flowers to give me when I came out and there was a whole big to do.

I did a lot of factual explanation of transsexualism as well as gave part of my story. I acted very classy, reserved, and had intelligent things to say. Only two or three people from the audience said stupid things... One guy wanted to see my "vagina", but of course I did not show it.

All in all the travelling, the hour limo ride with me blasting Felix Da Housecat and Goldfrapp, the taping, and the preparation especially with the tranny cosmetologist was a HELL of a lot of fun... So whatever has come of it, I mostly had tons of fun, which I consider an important element of life.

Yes a lot of the things I said were untrue and they made the guy said he hired me for $250 which is pocket change, BUT it was FUN.

So there's the story!

Ciao!

Well Done Gianna

You did yourself proud and all in all it sounds like a success. I'm glad to hear that they didn't try to make you look cheap.

I hop it is screened over here sometime soon.

Congrats, despite what peope might say it is an achievement.

sorry Gianna. I hate Jerry Springer cause I think he demeans people for ratings purposes. Then he comes off like a caring liberal.

I had no business questioning your motives. It sounds like you had a blast and pulled this off with total dignity. I hope I can see the show when it's aired in my time zone.
