This is a short scene from an unfinished documentary I'm currently shooting for my band. We are working on a new album and are documenting the experience from day one to finished product. I'm using my new Canon T3i, various lenses and lighting schemes to give the production a polished, cinematic feel. I shot this clip to be used as an editing and color correction test for the rest of the production. In this segment I talk a bit about the equipment we are using to record guitar tracks.

It holds up real good on my full screen 26' monitor, Jamie, very nice.

I am an old coot and I remember vividly having a discussion on the street corner about the guitar sound on the Stone's "Satisfaction"
I said it sounds like a saxaphone. HA HA HA HA HA HA HA!!!!!!!!
When I read Keith Richard's biography he said he was going for a saxaphone sound on Satisfaction, and that he only used fuzztone twice on any Stones song. He also said they hired Bill Wyman because he had an amp. The English guitar sound had a real hot sound on my Dad's old Tube Amplifier and Vinyl turntable. My sister had tons of Albums back then. Great time for music, my school years.

Sorry, Jamie, looks like Buttslinger killed another great thread in it's tracks. The Demon Seed strikes again.

Well, to be fair, I shouldn't really be posting band stuff on porn boards anyhow... It's like the opposite of sexy & doesn't really fit into the over all scheme of things on a board like this. I only do it cause every bit of promotion counts, so even if one dude gets interested in the band then my obscure little posts have served their purpose.
