Just curious what other people think about silicone breast implants, silicone injections, and everything silicone. I have to admit I've heard a lot of bad stuff about silicone injections but I'm still REALLY tempted... The only thing that scares me about it is that I may not be getting injected with the real stuff and the stories about those shady fake doctors, but I have seen some girls who look absolutely amazing. But I am really scared and I'm thinking about not getting it done.. Anyhow are you guys for/against/neutral as far as silicone goes? I think it's a really touchy topic with lots of different opinions and I've heard that some silicone is better than other silicone, etc. etc. Leave your opinions.

If a gal has a lot of silicone in her butt and hips, can she have trouble or pain sitting or lying down? I heard something here.

I am not in favor of silicone being injected anywhere in a girl's body. Saline breats implants are ok. I really don't understand injections in the butt.

Injections are a NONO

Implants are fine, ill be getting them myself at some point..

I agree 100 with Mayrah, injections are a NONO, but if you get implants. I find that saline implants which are safe, makes the breast feel hard after awhile, but silcone breast implants feel so soft. Its a nice feel. There were issues in the pass about silicone breast implants breaking, but I think its 100 times safer today.

I lost someone special to me because of silicone injections. Some transiwomen necome addicted to getting "pumped". They just don't know when to stop. Its like playing with a loded gun.

Don't do it then, Jen. You know the risks.

And your ass is, well, delicious. :wiggle:

Yeah good idea. I guess the problem I have is I can eat the house down and not gain a pound and it's really frustrating so there would never be any fat to transfer, but it does sound like a much safer alternative.

Instead of a joke I'll throw the change-up-----Google can lead you to a few forums devoted to this kind of stuff, breast implants, plastic surgery, etc. .....for something serious you should get it right.

There are some real tragic and horrible tales about girls in Brazil especially, trying to emulate the huge booty that Brazilian men seem to fetishise. I know quite a few girls who have transitioned successfully purely on hormones and have developed really attractive, svelte figures. They don't have huge asses, but they don't need them either.

It's a bit like the other thread about big boobs - if you want to change your body, you should only go for what suits your original frame. A huge ass on a petite body just looks wrong.

Yeah I've heard of those too. I think my dosage needs to be upped a little. I've been on hormones for years but I feel like I'm on a pretty low dosage compared to what other girls are taking and I'm just really not satisfied with my body shape at the moment. Also, apparently after SRS your body changes and breasts grow about half a cup size. So, maybe my body might change a bit more too, that's what I'm hoping for. Lol. :)

No matter how many warnings there are against it, and no matter how many horror stories there are about it, girls still go ahead and do it.

no silicone for me unless its in a breast implant... my brother is a plastic surgeon though and he told me that unless you;re alreeady fat then a fat transfer is pretty useless as almost all of it gets reabsorbed ne ways..

You do look great Ryder, and that's a really feminine set of curves too. As I say, most tgirls of my acquaintance trust entirely to hormones with the occasional exception of FFS, which is an altogether different matter anyway.

I can see the difference ok, but you had a very pretty face to start with.

BTW, I've listened to your music, and while it's a long way from what I do, you are certainly genuinely talented and that's a great voice - you deliver a song with real conviction. Good luck with that side of your career.

Hi Maddy!

I gather you are still young? I wonder why so many young girls are temped with sillicone injections? Isnt the fat distribution that you get with hormones enough? I started hormones at late twenties... and I have a slim but female butt and legs...
Aren't some girls overdoing it a bit?

So what is stopping your body now from fully developping?
It sounds like a fable to me that SRS will improve those things?

Thanks Maddy. The dangers of getting non-medical grade silicone pumped into your body can cause a number of issues. Too many trans-women in the very recent past have succumbed to these so-called "doctors".

Hi Brenda, well I've heard after SRS since there's no possible way to produce testosterone then your body changes even more? And I've always felt my dosage of hormones was on the lower side but it definitely seems to be working. I take blockers and estrogen from a doctor. Ryder told me she feels the shots work better than the pills (I've never tried the shots, I may switch over) I'm 19, I've been on hormones for like 4 years and as far as fat redistribution goes, no I'm not happy with it at all, I really want to gain weight in my hips/ass. Maybe you could say it's overdoing it, but it's a little naive, but it's really tempting.

Most of it is genetics tho hun. All u can really do is switch to injections. Take a proper dose and eat more food to gain weight.. Then just hope for the best really..

Silicone implants are fine, but not injections. The injection quality isn't always about finding a skilled doctor; it's almost random whether the injections come out the way you want or disfigure you and cause other serious health issues. If you want to mold your look, go with fat transfer. Fat transfers do reabsorb anywhere from a year-and-a-half to eight years after the procedure, depending on where you're injected on your body, but it's relatively safe. MUCH safer than playing Russian roulette with silicone.

Honestly, it might be a better idea to start eating a little worse until you start to fill out or get a little pudgy, then focus on light calisthenics on your upper-body and don't exercise anything from the abs down. After three or four months of that, you'll have a much better idea of whether you need to rely on injections or not.
