After watching Panorama the other night I wouldn't have thought that transsexuals would fare any better than the Asians who were beaten up by the neo-Nazis in the stadium in Ukraine, and quite possibly worse.

The fact that UEFA thought that giving these finals to Ukraine (Poland is not nearly as bad) when ne-Nazi thuggery is so clearly condoned there, is yet another indication that football at the institutional level has absolutely sold its soul.

The footie will be crap unless Spain, Germany or Holland are playing anyway, and England are losing players so fast that I'm half-expecting a call from Roy Hodgson tomorrow - and I'm not even English!

Politically very suspect too, Maddy. The former PM is in jail on what is almost certainly a trumped-up charge and is also on hunger strike because she claims to have been beaten up. The current leader shows rather too much of a likeness to Putin in his methods and it appears that almost all the western/EU governments will boycott the ceremonies held in Ukraine in connection with the tournament.

The fact that fewer than 6,000 English fans have bought tickets whereas the previous tournament in 2008 attracted over 20,000 of them speaks volumes, and add the fact that most of England's black players feel it's safer for their families not to join them because of the risk of racial attacks, and it doesn't look good at all. Congratulations to the tossers at UEFA.

Deffo be problems they base their football culuture on our terraces from the 70/80's and this is a chance to have it with english, germans, and anyone else on home soil with a global audience.

I'd be interested to know how many of our 6,000 are hardcore and how many are scarfers, arent our "top boys" passports took off them?? Feel sorry for anyone who doent really have a clue and taking the missus or kids, even if it doesnt kick off "moody" would not even begin to describe the atmosphere in some places which is never pleasent.

it could definelty get a little bit nawty ! although Ireland fans are very well behaved abroad . I have been in Europe with the Boys In Green and they generally get ver positive reviews from the locals. COYBIG

aaw thanks xx yes my surgery in 2009 really settled down over time and ive put some weight on as well which is good , i think that all helps!!! just had hair graft surgery the other month, another long wait while that grows/settles.. sob..

Final bit of face stuff end of this year hopefully:) and i want more weight on me yet as it goes to the right places ;-)

nope.. well not unless you count of isle of man!! traced a few generations on on both sides, my dads family side, scouse/manx (isle of man) family appears native to the area but maybe not gone back far enough;-) mums parents is side more welsh/lancs mixture. I am the spawn of a newtown ;-)

Just back from the bookies as its Derby Day (Thought Worthy each way); England are 16/1 to win the Euros, Spain odds-on I think it was 4/9 or something like that, Russia are 20/1 which I think is a good outside bet, same as Portugal. Poland haven't had a decent team since the 1980s as I recall, Ukraine never has, but could be hard to beat. Ah, but the Germans...this should really be in the Sports section but who are BMs expecting to win?
