Dissapointing Violence within our own community...

Last night I was very dissapointed.

I was attending a benefit for a local TS performer to send her to a pageant, and I had come out to show my $upporta and love to an older TS whom I have come to know and love.

During the party I received a lot of attention from everyone for my looks. There was a point where a group of men both gay and straight were taking pictures of me posing on a pool table...

A black tranny and a group of her thugs came up to me, and informed me that I was not "fish" but that she was and that I needed to stop what I was doing. Thinking it was completely ridiculous I ignored her.

Next thing I know the ignorant b*tch throws two drinks on me shattering them on my collar bone... Then a group of her boys took me by the hair, dragged me to the floor where I was kicked, scratched, hit, punched, and choked until I was blue.

Finally when security came they made a quick get away, except the guys left the tranny behind. The police came and made no real attempt to make any real police report and merely rolled their eyes at all of it.

This club has never been a place of violence, and always a family place for all the girls to get together, dance, have fun, perform and show love. I am very dissapointed that not only does violence have to occur from the outside to show hate to TS and other gender/sexual minorities, but that the ignorant of our own community have to bring the violence in because of jealousy and pettiness.

I just wanted to share this story because I think violence of any kind is wrong, and I should hope that all of you, if in the poistion would take a stand against it.

I know I may get some heat for this...but here is my take on it. A large percentage of black TS women have issues with "fishy" TS women. I saw a similar incident at the Miss Continental pagent in 2000. A girl from detroit who was know for fighting with "fishy" girls jumped this lovely latina just because the girl was fine. Damn shame, just give the girl props for being cute and keep stepping.
Now to all of my sisters out there, I'm not saying all of you are like that. But, I've seen it happen several times. But it seems to be a gang mentality type of situation. Its always a group of girls or their gay male friends who get them hyped up.

this whole incident not only saddens me but it sickens me as well...

only last week i was checking out mail on myspace and i got a very VERY rude letter from some girl, named "Kianna" and had the MK2 animation playing as her main pic, who just went on and on about i was a nobody, a whore, and MEN like me should be murdered by the govt. and that i could never be half the woman she was etc etc etc...
ive never been so verbally assualted that i was like wow what did i do to deserve this?? ok so some chick doesnt like me maybe her bf is on my friends list... so i open her page to see whos in her top 8... it was empty she had no friends period...so i was like ok wtf?? so i read some of her page....THE BITCH WAS A "TS" ....????? i know i was like WHY would a fellow girl be so blatently rude to me i surely had done nothing to her... so i wrote her a very well written letter explaining she must have me confused w/ someone else and told her how i was going to college, how i made huge positive steps in the local ts community *im on the houston council as a board member*, how i spoke at colleges / business seminars/ and high schools to teach TOLERANCE, and help people outside the TS community, gay / straight... what it meant to be transexual and how they should handle situations involving one....
she then wrote me back saying that i was a liar and that if she ever saw me in downtown houston she would "cut off your balls and nail them to your forehead so the world will know what a idisgusting faggot you are..." well that was enough for me to get MS and the houston police involved... the next day i got a call from the police dept saying that they had arrested the individual and had taken HIS pc, HIS laptop, and HIS PDA, and said that HE would be sitting in a MENS holding cell until HE posted bail or until HIS hearing, b/c she was in fact not a ts but just a CD... some of yall are prob in shock by that, i however have no pitty for someone that not only told me but told at least a dozen of my MS friends that she was going to inflict bodily harm on me if she ever saw me downtown... since the PYSCHO lives in the same city i feel her threats are real and should be taken that way....

Bigotry has no place in modern life. Over here where I live (N.Ireland),a T.V shop opened (Trans-formation) & was soon closed down as local people did'nt want 'pervert's on their doorstep.In my day job I see too much religious & racial hatred. I think what he meant was that to the police and most anyone else coming in after this occurred, it looked like a typical bar fight and they had too much else to deal with. Bar fights are rarely actually fair....usually a couple guys beating the crap out of someone else. Were there any witnesses there to back you up? Why didn't any of these MFs who were into you before it happened step in to help out? Sorry to hear this happened to you. Don't go out to these clubs without a group of friends you know will back you up. You say this club is a safe place for the TS community, but unfortunately (and correct me if I'm wrong) nice, civilized girls like you and Jen are the exception and no the rule in most TS scenes I've been exposed to. If you hang out at those places and don't play it cool, you'll be meeting that bitch again or another like her soon.

I was watching this PBS documentary on African Americans tracing their ancestry. One of the segments was on Oprah and she spoke of spending time at some woman's house as a child. The lady was black like she was but very light skinned. Well this "lady" made Oprah sleep on the porch because she was too dark !

Princess Gianna, and Jenn. I have witnessed this sort of violence before. Usually it is because someone that the attacker is with thinks you are hott, and they know that they will never be able to compete.. so the best way is to eliminate the competition.

I was in Chicago with a TS friend of mine and a CD came up to her and out of the blue punched her in the face, and told her to get out of her bar. This guy had a 5 o'clock shadow and was nothing more than a man in a dress... Well I stepped in and was jumped by 3 of his friends. Through the ensuing fight I ended up breaking a few things on them, but also was stabbed 6 times. The Police came, and my friend wanted to press charges, and they said fine, but that means that they others could press charges too because we fought back.. What BS. Sometimes I think the Police just dont want to mess with certain situations.

a couple months passed and we decided to go back to the same bar.. (it was a matter of principle).. and found out that the "guy".. was in another fight 2 weeks after us, and was shot in the knee.

What goes around comes around. Wonder how much call there is for an ugly CD with a limp.

Well i definately agree. The majority of men who post here are lowlifes and have nothing better to do with their time. Every time I post here i endure verbal harrassment. But most guys dont take these posts seriously. To most of them its a way to pass time. I wont say EVERY guy cuiz that would be a generalization. And there ARE some nice guys who do post here, however the majority of them as ASSES!
