I WANT to be very supportive of you all.

You're local, you are great supporters of the community - there's lots of reasons I should support you.

With my visibility here in NYC, I'm frequently asked where can guys go to meet a TS... your parties are always at the top of my list of suggestions.

but now YOU HAVE PISSED ME OFF

Specifically related to the Directory thread. Some of us are trying to build a useful listing of places people can go. Yet your constant spamming of the thread with individual parties derails that.

Worse you are flooding the board with 5+ threads promoting your party, and using aliases to bump them. While those are adaptations of the type of aggressive street level marketing which works well to guerilla market yourself in the real world, it DOES NOT TRANSLATE WELL TO ONLINE MARKETING.

If you seriously want to sucessfully market your parties on-line via social media, I'll be glad to work with you to build free successful strategies which will be more efficient and less annoying than your current efforts. Don't doubt my marketing prowess. I'm not the prettiest face of TS porn, but I am one of the best converting. I know how to take a product and sell its strengths. I can do so for you. This is my peace offering.

Continue with your actions as they are and I shall have no choice but to declare all out war. And by war I mean I will spam your threads with fetish and kink topics which would make Dino spew. Please do not make me resort to that.

With love, respect and other hippieness,

Wendy Danger Summers :geek:

I'd prefer not to go to war... I have no issues with well executed marketing -- we're all here to let people know about our work.

All I ask is some class. And style. Given we're all some flavor of tranny we ought to have some style... amirite? :dancing:

No I agree but this has been argued a few months ago around Tranny Awards and what happened? Nothing... non of these promoters listen! Its their way or no way and moderators dont care enough to enforce the BS here. I know they are crossing over with new things here but stop some of the party madness! I dont even want to go to a freaking party now because I see so many party threads! LOL

Wendy I think if people were being honest they would say you do the same thing (spammin) with all the countless threads you create. Your threads nor the party threads bother me..but I'm just saying.. you might be the wrong person to scream foul on this..especially by CREATING A WHOLE NEW THREAD for it..lol

I've actually been enforcing it Michelle.
I banned once yesterday - if anyone didn't know:
Yoda Rules!
Tran Fan
Domino Lover
NYC TS Lover
if not the same person, are using the same computer. You're on warning, I'll ban all the usernames if you don't stick to one.

Other promoters: If you don't have a sticky, then you can create your own thread and post in that.

Other "bumpers": TVKim, you've had some "pals" or other names banned already, if you want to continue with this constant bumping of threads, you'll all go also.

There is a way to promote properly. Look how people like Wendy Williams, Liberty, Krissy4u, etc. do it.

It's completely different. If she creates a thread "Look at me" or "What is your favourite flavour icecream" - then you have a choice to click on that thread or ignore. What you shouldn't do is keep interfering with posters on the ice cream thread, extolling how awesome your cheeseburgers are.

The Directory should be that, a list of clubs and bars .... not spamming.

I'd say there's a few differences:

1) I don't take a thread on another performer and use it to promote my work. For example, I've posted in numerous threads for other models when I dig their work - I don't play dueling banjos of my photos against theirs. It's tacky and I OUGHT to be banned if I ever did that. That's exactly the kind of thing going on with the Club Directory thread.

2) I add something to the board beyond self promotion. A case in point is the Club Directory thread. I've taken it upon myself to maintain the ongoing list for that and researching website contact information when the user bringing a club to our attention doesn't include it. I'm not a dancer or escort so that does little for me.

3) I don't self-bump threads. If people stop caring about or posting in a topic I start, I let it die.

Do I create a lot of threads here? Sure. But that should be typical of any participating user on a message board. This is accepted internet behavior.

And that's come of the culture clash we're having here... the party promoters are of the "drumming up interest on the street" guerilla marketing background. What they are doing works REALLY well in a physical community setting. It's been the standard for decades and it yeilds great results for them in the physical world.

But on-line? It's a different beast. 90% of the folks on Hung Angels will never be in NYC for a party. There's better ways for the promoters to tap into the marketing potential here, no doubts. Again, part of why I did offer to help them -- I don't fault the advertising... just play by the rules like the rest of us.

Awesome Steven, I know ur on it, I knew within time things are changing!!! A lot of us girls that promote our own stuff keep it pretty low and like Wendy and the rest of girls we use respect when posting! I sometimes purposely wait to respond to some people in my threads so I dont have 5 threads of me up top! Its embarrassing to me! LOL

I love the new enforcement here and you can see things changing! its kinda nice!

As a follow-up, one of the promoters in question has taken me up on my offer - so hopefully I'll be able to help with a more integrated social media plan for the event which will also help lessen the spam here.

Email in your direction -- you know who you are ;).

Thanks, Wendy.

I live in NYC and find the information/threads on parties in the area difficult to get through. Especially the posts with so many pictures in them. The pictures themselves are nice, and they give a great idea of what to expect at the party. So, I like the posts themselves, but not how they're arranged.

I'm sure your talent will be helpful.

I was just "pullin" your cock Wendy..lol..since you do start allot of silly threads.
But your threads don't bother me at all..actually find them and you amusing.
I will say though that if you weren't generally well liked around here like you are..you'd find yourself on the other end of the "intolerance" police. It also doesn't hurt that you are a sexy nerdy ts
