so the number of people that confirm and appointment and then disappear is becoming annoying.

As a rule i don't meet someone without a mobile number, and i had a few cases this week, with people i even talked with them on their mobile that disappear after confirming a date, even had today a case where someone called me from his hotel, called the hotel back and talked with him, agreed to talk with him2 hours later so i can head to his room, 3 hours later no one answer the phone.

Sounds like the opposite of what alot of providers put clients through . Speaking of that, i've never understood the Pay Phone thing . I can understand if the Pay Phone is visible from the Provider's place, but this is rarily the case .

Yes it goes both ways. Just last night I set up a date with an escort that I had no intel on. Got to the hotel and called from parking lot as instructed, no answer, vm box full so couldn't leave a message. Waited 5 minutes and left, as I'm one block away, my cell rings, didn't bother to pick up, sick of games like this, at this point it seemed a likely churn and burn scenario.

Well, payphones don't exist anymore, so that knocks me out of the mix if the gurl doesn't do outcall to my hotel.

With most of my dates I already have some rapport with them via online chats and emails. I also have a track record wherein I'm sure some of them trade notes about me. :) There is still a bit of phone tag (If she is slow in getting there I am likely to wander to the bar for a bit), but overall my dates have gone well.
