Chicago is dead but here is what little there is

Baton -- Show Girl Lounge

Spin -- T girls host occasional parties. A couple of the girls were on RuPaul's show

Green Dolphin Street -- Monday nights are T friendly

Kit Kat Club -- Sunny Delite and other show girls perform here weekly

Safe House -- My spot open every other Saturday and every other Thursday and caters to a wide variety of kinksters. TS, TG, TV and admirers come together to do wild shit. GG's and couples come as well.

The Office Nightclub has shows once a month or so... It is out in Rockford, IL (about 90 minutes outside Chicago), but if you live in the 'burbs the drive is about the same as it is to Chicago... But like a lot of places, it is a gay nightclub that sometimes has a show rather than a "tranny bar."

I just can't believe with as busy as El Gato Negro (and I know some people HATED it - I get it) could be on some weekend nights, a club in Chicago hasn't tried to cater to the crowd on say Thurs - Sat nights. There must be some bar that's struggling that could give it a try.

I've been able to travel a little bit and alot of these clubs that are being touted as "tranny clubs" are actually gay clubs or mixed clubs that have a "drag theme" or "TS theme" on a weekly or monthly basis. People travelling and thinking that they are going to see TS girls might be mistaken. Check out the websites and call the place you plan to visit in advance and see what's up.

As for tonight, I'm headed to see Mabel shake her ass at Sunny's party. No need to call, she'll be there :) lol

It is nice to see London well represented on this thread. The Way Out Club has been one of the longest running TS events in England. I've been to many of the venues listed but I don't believe I have seen more beautiful women then at the parties in NYC. The melting pot of New York provides women of every ethnic background - Chinese, Japanese, Peruvian, Colombian, Mexican, Puerto Rican, Domincan, and Cuban, like the beautiful Sunny Dee Lite. I'll take the melting pot any day.

In Chicago, I go to La Cueva, I love it, the neighborhood is ugly as hell, I'm Mexican and I'm nervous when I go there, but if you keep a low profile you should be ok, it's by 26th and Pulasky, the girls are great, some of them pretty hot in my point of view, these are the waitresses that you will find there

Is El gato still open?

Unfortunately, no... It could be a real dive and there were nights you would walk-in and want to turn right back around and leave. But there were also a lot of fun nights. On the weekend they had a really good in house band. And it was in a safe neighborhood, too (which was part of the problem with the locals).

I've heard about La Cueva. Is there anyway to get their that is safe - can you get a cab in and out? I don't imagine there is any parking nearby...

Unfortunately, no... It could be a real dive and there were nights you would walk-in and want to turn right back around and leave. But there were also a lot of fun nights. On the weekend they had a really good in house band. And it was in a safe neighborhood, too (which was part of the problem with the locals).

I've heard about La Cueva. Is there anyway to get their that is safe - can you get a cab in and out? I don't imagine there is any parking nearby...

Thats too bad because I heard good things about the Gato. I want to go to check out La Cueva but too afraid to go into that neighborhood. I was wondering the same thing too about the cab in and out.

Wednesday the 18th is the Grand Opening of TRANS Wednesday at the Oxwood Inn. Beautiful and friendly ladies, Excellent drinks priced right, Great music at a bit less volume so you can talk comfortably or dance if you want and a Hostess who will be happy to introduce you to someone who caught your eye....a toned down weeknight club where you can get to know others in a relaxed yet vibrant atmosphere, including darts and a pool table . Last Wednesday's trial run went great with a good size crowd.

Hi, I'll be in Central Florida at the end of Feb and I'm looking for some input on the weekly best nights for certain places. I know from my many trips to LA the best nights are as follows:

Monday - MJ's - Mostly pros but lots and many hot. Show is good.
Tuesday - Hamburger Mary's Long Beach - My favorite as nice mix of ams and pros. Laid back and pros seem to be on their night off.
Wednesday - Nada, I stuck my head in the Oxwood once and it was DOA.
Thursday - Cobra - When busy it's wild with dozens of ams and pros like the old peanuts. Show is good.
Friday - The Palms - Often busy but mostly pros looking for dates or drinks. Not a great vibe with the bowling alley design and the OK show way in the back.
Saturday - Oxwood - Almost always fun in this dilapitated little place. Mostly ams albeit not always too passable. Hotties are usually pros half of which are working the poles but there is the odd gem.
Sunday - Industrial/Palms - Each has one or two pros/strippers so best to rest up.

It would be great to develop a guide like this for FL without many trial and error trips. This link http://transformationonline.com/transgender-friendly-clubs-and-bars-in-the-sunshine-state/ provides a good list of potential places so Floridians please chime in with the best nights and a little description. What I know from previous trips by city is as follows:

Orlando - Parliment House is a crowded gay bar with a few trannys who can be standoffish.
Tampa - Valentines reminds be of the Oxwood but with virtually no girls. The odd one around is hard to approach.
St. Petes - There was that place that was pretty good but was closed when I was last there.
Hollywood - Trixies/Castle - Was crowded with decent talent when I was there years ago although most were begging for tips.

So from my own experience and recent posts it seems like Tampa/Orlando is still a lost cause but locals will know if things have changed. Plus it would be nice to know if lets say Jacksonville Hamburger Mary's or Sarasota Throb is worth the trip and what night is best.

Saturday - Oxwood - Almost always fun in this dilapitated little place. Mostly ams albeit not always too passable. Hotties are usually pros half of which are working the poles but there is the odd gem.
Sunday - Industrial/Palms - Each has one or two pros/strippers so best to rest up.

It would be great to develop a guide like this for FL without many trial and error trips. This link http://transformationonline.com/transgender-friendly-clubs-and-bars-in-the-sunshine-state/ provides a good list of potential places so Floridians please chime in with the best nights and a little description. What I know from previous trips by city is as follows:

Orlando - Parliment House is a crowded gay bar with a few trannys who can be standoffish.
Tampa - Valentines reminds be of the Oxwood but with virtually no girls. The odd one around is hard to approach.
St. Petes - There was that place that was pretty good but was closed when I was last there.
Hollywood - Trixies/Castle - Was crowded with decent talent when I was there years ago although most were begging for tips.

So from my own experience and recent posts it seems like Tampa/Orlando is still a lost cause but locals will know if things have changed. Plus it would be nice to know if lets say Jacksonville Hamburger Mary's or Sarasota Throb is worth the trip and what night is best.

Couple of places to try would be club xtra in Hollywood and they started a Monday night party at liquid in ybor city in tampa they advertise on backpage. both were pretty good with a minimum of a dozen or more girls

I'm in LA this coming week so just checking out this list. Am I correct in thinking the Palms, Industrial Strip, MJ are all closed? Has anything replaced them?
